Ren'Py - Eva's Ecstasy [v0.9 Beta] [GilgaGames]

TL;DR = annoying game with very outdated game mechanics. Progressing through game is such a bore.

Story: 2/5
Pros:
+ You will follow the story of this "vanilla" girl that has relationship problems with her boyfriend. Her solution? Turn into ultra slut.
+ If you enjoy that kind of story, then this game might be slightly interesting to you.
Cons:
- Whole story and plot isnt very deep. It is not very interesting.
- Also this whole story doesnt make much sense. There are so many huge plot holes.
- The main heroine is supposed to be this simple "vanilla" girl. The most adventurous thing she can imagine is watching missionary or doggystyle porn. Yet for unknown reason she is having dreams about the most depraved BDSM and gangbang porn. Yet she never encountered such thing in her life so it came out of nowhere.
- In her daily life she encounters people who have HUGE personal vendettas against heroine... and yet she doesnt even recognise them.
- When heroine is having relationship problems with her boyfriend to whom does she turn for advice? She turns to this huge cheating neighbourhood slut that she barely knows. That woman is cheating on her husband with half of the town... IDK but that doesnt seem like a good person to ask for relationship advice.
- There are so many things that ruin the immersion.

Art and sex stuff: 2/5
Pros:
+ Some people might find the hand drawn art nice.
+ Game has some sex animations.
Cons:
- I personally disliked the art.
- I think sex scenes are kinda boring.
- Those animations arent very good. You can only change their speed.

Gameplay and rest: 0/5
Pros:
- I didnt find anything likeable in this game. It is annoying mess.
Cons:
- Now here come the MASSIVE negative aspects of the game:

1.) This game is in fact Kinetic Novel that is trying to masquerade as annoying SANDBOX.
- What does that mean? You will have whole map full of locations you can visit, but unfortunately nothing happens there!! NOTHING!
- You have to follow the very strict guide in the form of a phone. If you dont follow this guide then you will not be able to progress anywhere!!! It goes as far as telling you to "take a shower"... and if you dont go to bathroom and dont take a shower then you are screwed.
- Just turn this into simple (click to proceed) Kinetic Novel and save people their time.

2.) Navigation between different parts of the map is a disaster!

3.) There is a bug that causes a delay in transitions between scenes.
So every single time the screen background changes you will have to wait few moments! It is fucking annoying!
- Combine this transition delays with a lot of travelling on that sandbox map. It suddenly turns into very annoying feature that will waste your time.
- I am playing on HIGH END PC that can play newest AAA games on ULTRA settings. Yet here I am waiting for a RenPy background to change!

To sum it up:
I really hated "playing" this game. The mediocre story in this game isnt worth the frustration.

Compared to the previous game, there's an improvement in the quality of the art. I liked the new protagonist. I also enjoyed the customization options, even though there are only a few available at the beginning, but it already opens up opportunities to expand them further in the future.

One thing that needs improvement is the map navigation; it needs to be better designed. After a while, moving around the map using the current navigation system gets annoying.

I also hope we get new characters in the future because the current character roster feels very weak to me. I was only interested in two of them; the rest I either didn't bother starting their objectives or didn't delve into much.

The game is fantastic, the evolution of the art in comparison to the creator's last game, Amy's Ecstasy, is stunning. The sheer amount of content is also crazy for such an early release. About the only criticism I have is in the navigation section of the game, and even that is a minor gripe after getting used to it.

I've been playing GilgaGames since the very start i.e. Amy's Ecstasy, the game got many negative criticism but I always found it enjoyable.
Fortunately, GilgaGames has only improved with time, with Eva's Ecstasy being better than Amy's Ecstasy in most aspect.

Things I liked:

1) The art, animation: The attraction for me in the game. You can check it out for yourself.
2) The story/ Character: There is a character for every fetish with good foundation for a good story. I'm looking forward to Rick's story.

Things that could be improved:

1) While the narration is good, I think writing could be better to make the game more immersive. Events sometimes feel rushed.

While some people are so pissed about the navigation system, I think it is not that bad. It takes time to get used to but I wouldn't use that as a reason to hate the whole game.

I love the artist way of drawing and i lolve the story arc of the different characters, the way you move trough locations is a bit complicated but it's an overall really nice and sexy novel with a lot of corruption progress i just love it!! keep up the good work!!

I've updated my review to reflect changes in the work. Nagivation and stat systems have both been improved. The game has great storylines and art, looking forward to watching this develop.

Pros:
Art has only improved from earlier works, you can see the polish here.
Nice variety of characters, solid storylines between them.
Corruption-driven story.


Cons:
Navigation is still not great, but better. I think it would be helpful if you could have a preview of the characters who are in the room while the navigation pane is open.

Really excellent corruption/bimbification type game.
A little buggy but for 0.2 patch there's a fair amount of content.

If you enjoyed Amy's Ecstasy, you'll enjoy this. It's got a few minigames as part of the content, I expect these will be fleshed out further with time.

I look forward to pursuing all the different endings and am looking forward to the next update.

i know i gave 5 star but i am gonna list some bad feedback as well
First the good things is Amy still rocks and she was the first for Eva
Hilda is the most attractive character i found in this game ( i really don't mind Hilda being trans/futa as well , actually that might be hot as well , My ship sails for Hilda and Eva whatever happens next)

Now the bad points:
Navigation system looks cool but it really becomes annoying to click that 3 arrow first everytime, its confusing
Mobile is also very cool but well the mission tracking can be said both good and bad

Now the best point is again HILDA
Please make Hilda very Dominating who will crush Eva between her arms
I don't mind what she is ( lesbian or trans/futa) as long as she makes eva lose her mind

Fun game, the art is a bit over simplified but it had me surpisingly addicted for about an hour, will watch with interest, ty f95zone and the creators...I particularly enjoyed being able to pick the pubic hair style!
