Okay so after playing the game and witnessing the one scene to he offered, I have things i wanna say immediately, not doing an actual review because games way to early in development.
If you've seen me before then you know that this is not in anger, I actually really like the game and think it has genuine potential, and the reason I'm critiquing it harshly is because I want this project to get far and be great
1. And most obviously, the player is too slow, if our fox was any slower my low attention span would bring up my phone mid walk
2. I'm an idiot, that sounds like a weird point like "well that sounds like a you problem" and it is, but, and just hear me out, I can't understand the dialogue in this game, and the only reason I bring this up is because I spent like 10 minutes trying to find the slime place... not my proudest moment I know, but in situations like these, idiot proof your game and add an arrow on the edge of the screen to point in the general area of where you need to go, so idiots like me can progress with minimal issue
2.5. This isn't really a new issue but me being an idiot plus the player being slow in tandem is literally my current only real complaint, but those two working together was really making the game drag, I really wanted to see the slime scene and it WAS great don't get me wrong, but actually getting there is kinda frustrating
3. This is more of a suggestion more than anything but I hope this won't just be a walking simulator for the scenes, I mean I'll still play if the scenes are as good as the first, but with a good base pixel artstyle like this, some actual gameplay instead of walking would make this a good game without the porn i can tell for sure, so at least have some real gameplay and not just a visual novel but you get to walk around now
Anyway that's all I have, lemme restate again that I don't do this in anger or hate the dev(s), I like the game and want it to do well, looking forward to the games progression and hope the people on this project the best!
