VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Evil Never Dies [Ch. 1 Complete] [Sylver Games]

This is a good game. Good renders for a honey select game. Game alos got smooth animations and sound effects. Which gives more ampience to the game. There is also a good story plot. That girl detective is gorgeous and hot. Also there is fair amount of gameplay. But sadly game is put on onhold. Onhold may change into abandoned hoping that will not happen here. Hoping dev will continue his project because it's sad to see a good project getting abandon. This game is worth playing.

Promising start. Honey Select doesn't look all so fresh, but character design completely compensates for the obsolescence of the engine.
Strong writing: witty dialogs and jokes, intriguing mystery detective plot.
Nice MC: not a Gigachad, but neither a complete dork or another reincarnation of Jesus Christ.
I like the biographies section. I like that we already have a pretty large cast. I like how dev decided to throw away free-roam and make the game pureblooded VN.
What I don't like, and this is seems like an unpopular opinion, is the animation. They are very wooden, simple, unnatural, almost creepy sometimes. Crazy camera movements aren't adding immersion either. I think without them (not talking about sex animations tho) game would look much more stylistically consistent.
But against a general backdrop this is a small problem unable to spoil my experience. I'm eagerly looking forward to engage with this story in the future.

This game has a good start.

The characters are interesting and while, their looks are not ground braking an obvious effort was made to make each of them feel unique.

On the graphics side, the game looks really nice, perhaps a bit bright in some the scenes, but still, it's clear the dev took the time to give the game its own style, there´s also the smaller details like the blinking and the facial expression of the characters, those details may not seem important but they add to the scene.

Gameplay wise the game, it's fairly easy to play, there is a map but its only there so the player can choose what to do next.

story wise it's too early to say, but the premise of the game offers many possibilities

Overall a fun game, I do recommend you give this one a chance

A promising start.
Dev obviously put a lot of work in the game and it shows. The characters are blinking and have pretty good facial expressions. The character designs are nothing we haven't seen before but are nice nonetheless.
I can't say anything yet about the story or writing skills involving sex scenes, because there isn't much of it yet. But both are promising and english is adequate (better than mine probably)

Currently the game is almost 1 GB and that worries me a bit though, since this is only a intro there's only one (pretty hot) nsfw scene (a blowjob, not counting the nude scenes) and that means future chapters will be quite large.

As always, i hope Dev prioritises creating sexual tension with hot premises, over the story itself (the story should be complementary to the sex scenes in a porngame imo). And in this case, prioritises the animations in the sex scenes, over the nice little gimmicks and details like the blinking eyes (don't misunderstand, i love those and it helps making characters more life-like).


I recommend bookmarking this game and wait for some more content.

1) Sandboxy map stuff. .? Hopefully, it'll be quick & straightforward.
2) Not enough scenes to judge the lewd content yet. The setup for the first girl was kinda hot though... Got high expectations with that one.

Conclusion
It's currently very short, but it's better than most other new releases. I think this has the potential to become one of the better games on this site.
