There seems to be an update planned for January that adds the edit event and edit character features from past games that I was sad were missing from this game so far, good to know. The dev also stated that production for a new game will begin, likely a side scroller like Smash Boy or Yume, development time around 2 years or so, so halg a year longer than the current game took to make.

man the fact that the new game will be sides croller is a dub for me, hope that there is a good amount of girls and animations like the first game

but i won't be buying this next one.. too expensive
I'm happy the next game will return to a beat 'em up. There are never enough beat 'em ups especially ones with female enemies that want to do naughty things to the male player. It's usually male enemies having their way with the female player or male players helping themselves to defeated female enemies.

Tru. Tbh only reason that I play excessm's games is because they are well made without the weird fetishes. I detest the shota part but still stomach it since a lot of femdom games are slop

I am growing wary of the author's repeated usage of older assets and characters. That's my greatest critique. Aside from the shift from the beat-em-up style. But i get wanting to do something different instead of rehashing things.
I used to see this as problematic too, though when I actually saw it in practice I did not really mind. Could be because with the exception of the angel girls I actually liked all of the returning ones though.

(porting over from the Choetsu Yuugi translation request thread since I figure it bears stating here as well)
=Together= just released a translation for the game they were working on, "You think that will stop me from draining you...?" (RJ01091447) and I'm pretty sure they're taking Choetsu Yuugi next. It was narrowly second place in the patreon poll they put out, only losing by a few votes (first place was 18 votes, second place was 12). Went and looked in their discord server since I've been waiting for a translation of that last game for a while now, and found these messages here.

Their last translation was released just a few days ago on November 29th. So, hopefully, we should be getting news soon. At least of them starting work on Choetsu Yuugi anyways.

I just dont get the playing menu at all, like I THINK to progress you gotta train then it advances or you skip a turn sleeping, but other than that i dont really know what any of the menu means, I just want to use some edit battle mode like in the others and pick sexy enemies
Are you playing the game untranslated? Otherwise if you just want to see the scenes (highly recommend playing this properly because the immersion is the best it's been in a while) then you can go back to the main menu and use these options:

In terms of what you have to do, you're not that far off. After spending enough time training or sleeping in the beginning, you should get the option to search places to go battle enemies.
