I'm surprised there's no reviews for this game (or they were deleted/new page but anyways) it's a decent puzzle game. I wouldn't say Amazing, but I believe the "gameplay" to "H-scene" ratio is pretty good, and the game isn't long. I think it hit the right amount of time, while being simple enough that even I could understand all the puzzles. I literally got the "full clear" ending first try lol. Anyways, review time:
Gameplay, 4/5: Puzzle Game (with shoddy "energy" management)
So, it's 90% puzzle game. You go around, look for clues, put this and that together and you'll automatically put things together to form the item you need. Additionally, some of the puzzles are more simple, like the Wood, bad smelling, otaku guy. No spoilers just in case you want to solve it yourself. But for an example, the game notes that after beating a "major boss" there's a "secret thing of grudges, but we won't point it out for you! Find it!" but it's a book. On the floor. The only book. Every time.
There are other things that make the puzzles... Not hard, but again, it's just enough to scratch the thinking bits while stimulating the dongle bits.
There's some semblance of status management but as long as you don't get hit, and recharge before every "major encounter" you're fine.
Basically, it does a lot to not inconvenience you, but ends up being on the easier side. To re-iterate, I'm someone who does not do puzzle games a lot and I found them somewhat simple, just needs some observational skills.
Visuals, 4/5: Generic, but Cool
The art is something that feels familiar. It's typical anime BS, and the outfit is a bit... Excessively horny? Like, nipple piercings that are bells, but for an omnyouji. IDK hard to suspend my disbelief for that one, horny game. The exorcism animation is also pretty cool given it's an RPGM game.
In terms of H-Scenes, you get 12 and they're all good. Animated. A bit of a generic anime style, but they're not ugly by any means. As long as you get the "true ending" you'll get them all anyways.
Audio, 4/5: Fitting, a Bit Less Generic.
The review's getting long so I'll keep the next two sections brief: The audio is fine. Nothing amazing, just good, fitting. Atmospheric. Nice sound effects that aren't always the super stock sound effects. You know the ones. The ones that EVERY OTHER RPGM game has.
Story, 2/5: A Bit Harsh, but Maybe My Fault.
Admittedly I sped read a lot of the text, but basically, family tries saving someone sick, exorcist comes in, curses them into an abomination, now family has grudges, our protags come in and are like, "damn wtf who dun this" and cue scooby doo antics except with more fucking, asian aesthetics, etc.
It's generic, and doesn't even make me feel anything. Even the stereotypical hero stories make me feel hopeful or something. It didn't make me laugh (or chuckle), didn't make me feel upset, just... Meh.
Overall, 4/5: Worth Your Time.
I beat it true ending in less than an hour. The puzzles aren't hard, and you get 12 animations that aren't bad. If you like puzzles, and you like anime tits, then it's the game for you. Nothing struck me as bad, just that it's a bit watered down or generic.
Also, generic is not bad, just average.
Also a bit of a tangent, but anyone else feel like they can look at an artstyle and just know it's one nationality or another? IDK how, but I feel like I can yet cannot point out what specifically it is.
