Eh, it seems super mid so far.
Where is the hook? Red heads? Is that it?
I dunno, there are so many VNs available, you can't get away with low-effort descriptions and a mid story.
Oh also, one of my sayings for the longest time has been "Expectations only leads to disappointments."
So far that is playing out here too, though it's early so it could improve.

Ptolemy has been around for a few years now and already has completed games and a fanbase, the game will bring in players regardless.

Made a Mod for the game with choice hints (WT), cheats and some more game settings.

Updated my Mod for the new game version v0.68
(0.68 is for the Mary route (with some Charlotte content)
Be aware the in the meantime the game had some updates + the Renpy engine
changed. There can be some saves are not working because of that changes.
Info:
The game has no choices for quite some time now. You are "locked in" to the
main girls routes after a few releases, after that it's kinetic for that route.
I therefore removed the additional WT+ hints now (the "normal" choice hints
are still in the game). But I added an enhanced game release replay feature
so you can play them even you are not on the needed game route.

Every single one of Ptolemy's games have a rushed ending. I'm hesitant to invest in another 2+ years of story only for it to come to an abrupt stop with a flash-foward and 2 lines of text forgetting to tie up any loose ends.
Keeping in mind his already in progress game hasn't seen an update in 8 months and that game has been in production for 6 years, it's been off and on in development hell.

You share a boarding house with 4 women. Charlotte is the owner of the house and you can get close to her by helping her out sometimes. But the game will specifically ask you which of the 3 other girls you want to hang out with sometimes and that seems to be the only way to reach intimate content with them.
For example if you are interested in Jessica, you have to pick her in order to see her content and the other girls will be locked out until the game asks you again on another day. There are certain triggers that are tied to this and they let you see specific scenes related to the girls. Personally I focused on Mary and the progression with her felt natural.
You can pick Jessica for your first choice, see her content and then pick somebody else the day after but this means missing out on the content that you would have seen on that day if you had picked Jessica. So if there is a specific girl that you are interested in more than the others then you should always pick her in order to see all her scenes.
