Hey folks,
I've been a hobby gamedev for some time, and a programmer for many years. After starting to appreciate a few good lewd games, I've had 2 game ideas stuck in my head since last year: a brothel sim gacha game where you collect sex workers and put them to work, and a 2d-hd metroidvania (basically octopath traveler art style, sprites in 3D world).
Now leaving aside the first idea for now (I'll get to it at some point), last month I said fuck it let's do the metroidvania one even tho I have almost no free time for it. I'm an avid metroidvania fan so I wanna make one now.
I had a good progress on the writing, lore and setting for the game, and basically have the entire intro section of the game planned out, together with a cutscene. Now I started experimenting with the art style and I'm going for a pixel art in 3D, so I wanted to start showing it to see if there is someone that can like it.
The controls of the character are slowly coming together, and soon I will start building the first area proper where the intro section with cutscene will take place.
The plan is to make a really good metroidvania but with (very) lewd elements, and being able to combine 3D models and 2D sprites can make it really interesting.
