Same version, don't have a log file in any f95checker related directory. I'll just have to go back to checking manually.

Since I found this app, there ain't no way I'm gonna check 254+ games manually. F*** that, but if that's what you want to do, you won't find any sympathy here from people who are trying to help you.

Do as White van says, since you are using a fairly old version. 11.0.3 is the best version currently. I installed it in April. Never had problems with it.

Or trash it and check manually—your choice.

This app wasnt necessary it was just a nice thing to have, i wasn't looking for sympathy. Also i'm not using an old version, i am using the latest one. You should request your money back then, be sure to cite 'unprofessional tech support' .


I suggest you back up your database (it is at %APPDATA%\f95checker\db.sqlite3 ), then be sure to kill any instances of it that may be stuck in memory via Task Manager, then delete all associated files (other than your DB backup of course). You can redownload the latest version at

and reinstall. The leading culprit for this problem (failure to launch) is imgui (creates the windows) due to video driver changes or anti-virus blocking it due to not being signed. Let us know if this fixes it or not, not sure what else can be done to help you though.

Thank you for your help. Sadly its still not working. deleted the folder and both temp folder, restarted the pc, then i get the standard warning from windows regarding unknown publisher, which i ignored and clickt "still run it" and nothing happend afterwards.

Edit: Should i have deinstalled the browser addon too for it to work?

Even without the db file, you get the same issue? And browser addon is not part of the app per se. if i understand correctly is just a markdown of sorts with what games you have on follow. if i am wrong, someone correct me on this

Did not transfer the db file yet since i wanted to try the programm first which does not work anyways.

Found the fucking problem! It was the newest version of my graphics driver... Did a rollback and now it works again!

Okay well embarassingly i found my issue, it was a graphic driver update. However, the reason i said with such certainty that my drivers hadn't updated, is bc i have always have auto update disabled. At some point though that clearly got reenabled somehow. Appreciate everyones help

Now I am curious, what driver do we talk about? If we know witch one, it will help others having the same issues. AMD or Intel, as Nvidia can't be as I don't have any new updates for it.

Im currently now back on 25.9.1, the issue was my system had auto updated to 25.11.1 in the background without me realising.

I swear Nvidia turns auto update back on randomly. I disabled their app during start up to prevent it from updating video drivers (only thing that works).

I have an AMD gpu and this is the only time i've had this happen so i'm not super bothered by it
