It's a bit early to say, but having played the tech demo (yes I'm a patron) I'd describe the gameplay at this stage as something akin to the Hentai High School games. You have some girls who work for you, you assign them to different jobs in a building, you pay money to build/unlock areas, and guests go to those areas and interact with the rooms/employees. You get money, stats go up or down, you see a few scenes/screens/images to see the results of your actions, etc.Is the gameplay similar to Man Of the House and by gameplay i mean navigation and etc if not is there anything to compare it to? some info would be nice...
As for unity i am glad he kept working on it...like he said if the dev knows what he is doing its a very good engine...
there many good games from AAA devs that use it...
There are obviously some pretty major differences: custom 3D graphics (though not much at all of those new graphics yet, most of the graphics being repurposed for the tech demo's sake from MotH. I'd honestly consider calling this tech demo a 'proof of concept' more than a game), comparatively more unique but presumably far fewer characters, and obviously in a hotel rather than a school. I'd also suggest that, while nothing is set in stone yet and this is just from one player's perspective, the game is more focused than the HHS games on giving the player a clear game narrative while being comparatively simulation-light rather than being a heavy simulation game with small side vignettes and side stories like HHS+ for example.
All told, I generally like where it's going (provided there's an incest angle, obv.), but I really don't think there's enough to see here yet in terms of new H-content to give players not already invested in Faerin's stuff a good impression of where things are going yet. My expectation is that when the first official game demo gets released (hopefully an X-mas present or earlier?), then I imagine Faerin himself will let the game into the wild and see what people think.
