VN - Ren'Py - Fake Father [Second v0.5 Gold Full Beta] [Netero3009]

I have zero clue what the other reviewers are smoking, cause this is honestly a 3/10. The models are decent, the concept is nice, but the writing is crap, the characters are unbearable, and it's amazing how the dialogue manages to drag on so long when barely anything of importance happens. I mean the biggest plot point in the story is over in like a minute and rushed as hell, but everything else is incredibly meandering. It's so bad, how are people giving this 5 stars????

It's an exciting story with beautiful visuals. The characters look amazing, have diverse personalities, and are packed with emotions. The Corruption aspect isn't rushed and is very well done overall. I'm hooked on that one, especially because decent corruption games are not frequently created. 10/10 would recommend

Good renders and writing. Very grounded dialogues, the LIs have realistic personalities and reactions, and the MC approach to the situations also seem plausible. That made "corrupting" Lily very satisfying - slow corruption fans will definitely like this game.

This is an interesting and fun game. Little twist on the normal AVN, but still a bit predictable.
The graphics are a step below the high end games, but they are not bad. The animations are the same way.
The story is more interesting than most, but not at the top level as very few are, when it comes to avns.
Still I would rate this a 4.5, if I could.

Great game. I always like games that look believable and where the plot develops gradually and organically.
At the beginning our hero rescues his twin brother (Indian music plays in the background), they get acquainted and the MC's brother offers to take his place while he takes care of business (starring James Belushi, Charles Grodin).
So our newly minted millionaire arrives at the house with the ghost of his wife and two beautiful daughters and... Trying to repair the broken family ties! Nice isn't it, but where's the catch?) We're still on F95 planet and should realize that the protagonist's 18-year-old non-daughters will be awakening more than just family cravings in him. Our unfortunate one will be constantly drawn to one and the other while complicating the hero's life will be a strict time limit - the brother plans to return and ruin all progress (really, you shouldn't have saved him in the beginning). So, the MC has a very limited amount of time and what's a man to do? That's right, spend more time with the beauties! We have a special approach to each of them: the younger one deserves support and confidence in her abilities, the middle brat is constantly asking for money and requires a spanking, and the older one is such a cutie pie who should be kept close and not given to anyone. It's with the older one that we're making a lot of progress. Dora's gentle, leisurely sexual upbringing is probably the best thing about this game so far. There's the cutest discussion of the permissibility of female pubic hair length, awkward simulations with a rubber friend, and learning to play with a little vibrating pink tamagotchi. At the same time Dora herself behaves very naturally and believably which can't help but win you over

So, version 0.7 doesn't contain much content, but everything in this game is done with a lot of care and attention to detail. This game could definitely grow into something more than just another incestuous craft the project has its own soul an interesting story and especially three different heroines that won't leave anyone untouched.

The game's ok but it suffers from a few issues of polish which hold it back.

The pacing is also an issue. Given the context of the story it makes sense as you've only got a short amount of time but on the other hand it means there's little time to digest what's happening on screen. Furthermore because everything is crammed together then it makes some situations seem absurd. You are meant to be this aloof bastard of a father and you turn on a dime to be actually quite chill but all the people you interact with kind of just accept this about face as the norm. There's little in the way of questioning what's going on and given, as a stranger, you're basically pushing these characters into sexual situations then it makes it feel all the amore odd.

Beyond that it's ok, renders are ok. It suffers from that issue common to quite a few different games where the lighting is sometimes a bit off so scenes are probably darker than they should be. There's also little in the way of playability. There are a few options to do A or B but more often than not the need to click an option comes up needlessly. In the latest update you're driving a go kart round a track and you have to click (Speed up) to progress the scene. I get it, just let me play.

An all too common sight in the AVN community: the waste of a premise.

The only things I liked were the renders and the animations, and they're really only average. Everything else was pretty bad. Numerous grammatical errors, constant pacing issues, single choice prompts (always a bad look when not thematically appropriate), and worst of all: a wimp MC who's canonically 45 years of age yet acts and thinks like your average teenager main character i.e. a bumbling idiot who can only think about how he wants to fuck every woman he meets.

The inconsistency on the MC's part is especially aggravating. One minute he's almost panicking about how he'll be killed if the people who know about the switch find out about him doing things he's not supposed to, the next he's thinking about how he has to meet the eldest daughter because she's the hottest... The only thing that's consistent is how much of a pussy he is. Even when I tried my best to play him as assertive, he still lets Chloe and whatever the middle daughter's name is walk all over him without a single retort despite the fact that he's not only impersonating the man of the house, the father figure, but he also has the actual guy's future by the balls. I don't know if it gets better as the story progresses but I can't stomach any more. I mean, this is coming from a guy who had the stones to fuck a fellow teacher in a classroom on the daily. Please.

I'm not sure why this game is rated so highly honestly. I can ignore the the gender messups as this was written by a nonnative english speaker, but what I can't really forgive is the terrible writing quality. The dialogue feels like it was written by an angsty teenager honestly and comes across quite stilted and artificial. The render are average nothing to complain about, but honestly not great. IDK maybe I'm missing something, but I can't even fathom how this has so many 5 stars.

I have now played through the current release once (v0.5a), and I like the game so far.
Cute girls and a fairly interesting story.
But there are some quite awful gender mix-ups, like when MC talks to his "daughter" and asks her, what she would do, if she got a son, and her son "gets and infection on her penis..."

I liked this idea, so far no abstruse reasons and mystical theories, the only youngest daughter could have been made bigger. It was not boring and I look forward to continuing. There is little time for choosing fathers and this gives the plot a dynamic character.

about ~ 1.5 hours of playtime if you play slow and read everything.
If you are missing anything from the gallery change your answer to Lilly, she seems to be the only one with a split route of good dad/ bad dad.

interesting, seems like its got a lot of potential, girls look great and they are all new girls, hopefully we'll see more of this game. Story is good although the story currently mentions 3 weeks I assume the "real" father will either mysteriously disappear to prolong that, but either way I can't wait. Hope there is a harem aspect to this, but I've got lots of hopes.

Nice story, average graphics. keep it up. IT will be interesting how three of them will react to different routes, i guess there will be a good father and a bad father route for every one of them, imposter father i mean. The goofiness is at excellent level too for this type of games.

Good quality, very few spelling errors - even with the translation. Fun premise. Excellent hot models. This is a great start and I am excited for more content. I hope it will continue. It's rather incomplete right now but it's a great tease. Keep it up!

Not a bad start, I like where this story could go. Some translation errors where the text says "he" when it should be "she", but it's not game breaking. I'm assuming the choices that lead to game over will be alternate paths in the future.
I really don't see where the cultist sees anything political about this, other than the MC wanting to keep his fake family together and be a good "fake" father...nothing political is even referenced.

Played 5-10 minutes of this, so take this as opinion with a grain of salt:

My main thoughts on this title in the short playthrough was:

• Choices leading to "game over". These serves, IMO, no point other than to frustrate someone playing the game. Choices should be branches to alternative dialogue or entirely new game experiences, NOT to instant game over.
• Political opinions. This is personal for me, but I am not going to play a game where the MC expresses, for me, radical political opinions. MC here sounds like an alt-right nutjob. If he had been a hardcore SJW, a Trumpist, a follower of QAnon, or a Fascist, I also wouldn't bother playing the game. Keep extremist political ideology out of games, especially if it is the MC that has it.
• Renders are OK-ish for this site.
• I like the concept of being an imposter, that has potential.
