It happened to me too, but I stayed doing the other missions... like how to milk the one-udder cow xD

I thought that that is what I did last time, but here's another go at it. The save slot is 30.
linux version didn't work out, the bundled binary approach is kinda atrocious, but there's a solution.
Go to the resources dir, and with your system's native electron, run app.asar, and boom, it worky.

Figured it out. It's actually pretty easy.
In the JoiPlay's help server, they were kinda vague. I imagine that most people who tried it and coudn't play were listing the game via the `.exe` file, since they only say that you need to "try listing the game one more time".
In practice, you list once using the `.exe` file, in order to extract some archive. After that, you must list using the `index.html` file. Then, you can play;
There is a code that allows you to cheat a save, If you want to access the memories in a journal just make a new save file and press the key f12 on your device, Once in the console type in $cheat.openMemories() and all scenes should be open in the journal.

Why is the version in the first post still the beta and not the stable version? The saves from the betas will only work in that beta version. We should probably skip those and post only the stable versions because it's only going to cause issues for everyone here who just want to play. I know everyone wants to get everything earlier but what's the point if betas are always going to be broken and incomplete?
