Others Fall:Out [v0.8.1 Stable] [Dvoika Games]

this message is for those who play on Windows 7 and want to play Fall:Out [v0.5.0 beta] I found a solution, I downloaded version 0.4.1 from patreon and did the following, just from 0.5.0 I dropped the resources folder into 0.4.1 and everything when I go into the game 0.4.1 it says version 0.5.0
some kind of mistake - I passed all the items but I can't go back to the first shelter. what should I do, are there any cheats? (I'm wearing a different jumpsuit)
I'd love to know too. Got out of the home shelter, tried to get back in, keep getting kicked out because I'm supposed to empty my inventory into the closet.
EDIT: it seems you're supposed to put on the new vaultsuit you get from the locker, but the game doesn't recognize you did so.
So, a bug.

Or at least the regular version had it, didn't play the beta due to the vault entrance bug

So, some information about development and releases.
We will try to publish the stable version 0.5.0 today. It will only fix bugs found in the beta version.
HoneyBadger has already finished working on the technical part of the new event, so the stealth system is fully ready.
However, I'm still working on the animation. At the moment, this is the most complex animation of all that I have done.
It has almost 200 layers. MFMMMM pose with a bunch of different segments and effects, as well as several animation stages.
It's all interesting to do, but it's almost the limit of what I'm capable of right now.
In order to allocate enough time for myself and do everything as planned, I will have to postpone the release of version 0.6.0 with a new event to Sunday, January 14th.
If I finish everything before this deadline, then we will release the update earlier.

Locked myself by going out of the first gate before seeing the doc, now cant walk back in because the guy in the entrance wont let me walk without leaving my stuff at the cupboard but i dont have anything showing to begin with... It's a quick restart since im at the very start of the game but just pointing it out

but it just contains bug fixes. There's no new events but the .json that handles all the text does have some new lines about potentially upcoming events that will happen if you walk around nude (leader of shady sands punishes you, raiders etc.)Also v0.6.0 was supposed to be out on the 14th but they missed that and there's no new eta. One thing unique to this game that I rarely see is that Handless is doing custom spine2D animations + sprite animations - this is actually a ton of work. I rarely give games a pass for missed commitments / dates - but in this situation I don't think HandlessGhoul is being lazy - I think he's actually stretching himself way too thin.
I'd be less worried about a delay and more worried about burn out and this game getting hit with an abandoned tag again.

Oh 100%. He's not lazy - he's got the opposite (and potentially worse) problem of being way too overambitious and overconfident in the timescale it will take to actually deliver what he wants.
I lurk in the discord all the time and he's constantly in the trenches talking about all the cool shit he wants to add and updates on how he's doing it whilst simultaneously not thinking about the technical overhead it will add. And because the team is so small very few of these ideas actually crystalise and just push the updates back further and further.
This isnt even a new problem - the old github repos from like 4 years ago had remnants of a lockpicking minigame and dogmeat which he had started making, then scrapped.
Full disclosure - I love this game, I think what has been delivered so far is of way higher quality than you usually see in adult games (particularly from small teams) and I even supported it on Patreon for longer than I probably should have - but it has some serious development issues that might never be fixed.
