Unreal Engine - Abandoned - Fallen Doll [v1.31] [Project Helius]

Fallen doll has excellent graphics and very good animations, but after you seen them all, you'll probably delete game.
Game is lacking content or goals at the moment.
I recommend you to try this game, but I doubt that it will be to longterm satisfaction.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v1.20 Demo...


This is basically nothing but a sex simulator game demo, which is just meant to show some mechanics of what the story game will contain...

Visuals of the characters are 3D with panoramic camera view, all Hentai, most likely made with Honey Select Studio... The backdrops are all unique and of the same average Honey Select type quality... You can change the camera angles, and there is your typical sex sound effects found in most Hentai type products... The male character is a see-through ghost with no noticeable features...

The script is non-existent as there is no story mode in this game... You get to play what is commonly known as a free-play mode, with no story or real end... You get to select from a choice of sex positions (i.e. bed, chair, etc) and from there you have a selection of sexual acts to perform... Not all are available... You can select when it stops, pauses, and once all the right stats are achieved from the sex act, you can select how to end it... Once all the woman's stamina is gone, a new days starts... You can also select different toys to play with, etc... This is very much a sex simulator, and that is about it...

You do get to see some of the mechanics of what is used during story mode, which appears as though you are doing sex acts to gain money from viewers, in order to purchase more equipment and sex act locations... With certain stats to increase, etc... There is no telling from this Demo if there is any sort of actually meaningful and/or deep story associated to the game play of Story mode, but I seriously doubt it... It really looks like the Story mode is the sex simulator with progression... No way to really tell fully...

Overall, this is purely a porn fest in the form of a limited control sex simulator... Totally intended for masturbation, and that is about it... Don't expect anything else from this game demo, at all... I will definitely not revisit this one...

I'm genuinely surprised this hasn't been rated yet.

The game has genuinely gorgeous graphics, being based in the unreal engine, which is kinda its main draw for me.

Generally I prefer my tiddy games with story, which this title completely lacks (though there is a Story Mode planned, just not avaiable yet), but I really didn't miss it.
The character model of the doll - Erika, I think - has a lot of charm. I've heard others say it reminds them of the style FF13 uses, which I think is a very fair observation.
(Though this game already trumps FF13 as a whole)

As of today, there's already a fair amount of stuff in the game that warrants a download, but with how much promise the game shows, I recommend following it further and not just canning it after a playthrough.

There's still a few hick-ups that need ironing out; a clunky UI, some positions really lack in facial animations, clipping like any other 3D porn game and the gameplay, what little of it there is, might as well be canned with how easy and boring it is in favor of a true sandbox mode. Needs some rebalancing if the story mode will be based around it.

About VR:
I've only got a patchwork Cardboard + RiftCat set-up, so I didn't really try it, as I though I'd need some form of controllers first.
I've heard, though, that there's a VR version that doesn't need controllers out there, but I couldn't find it (as I couldn't be arsed to look for it).
