Not sure how true this will be, given that Luna is really devoted to Aidan and all her actions, including sexy times with Vargas, are all just to serve the purpose of getting the formula to cure Aidan. Luna is just saying that stuff that Vargas wants to hear so that she can get closer to him to finally get that cure. Think of a femme fatale who pretends to be close to the bad guy to get info to infiltrate the inner circle. She's not falling for Vargas. Rather, she's just buttering up his ego so that he'll lower his defenses around her.
That's why it'd be hot to see her say that. I know it's OOC for Luna to say things like that quick, but imagine if she says it just once out of pleasure. It'd be so hot and Aiden would just think it's some other chick Vargas is having fun with. That's the beauty of NTR.

I am fine if they can strike a balance between tropey NTR and making it a little bit grounded. The main attraction of Mystery NTR like FUNS is to induce a false sense of trust and paranoia, that's why having silhouette/phone call/or audio scenes stimulates our minds on what Luna and Vargas could be doing while in Aiden's POV.
I agree with this one, Mystery NTR is probably the hardest to do with only a few devs to even tackle this type of genre of NTR, just because of the sheer difficulty you would have to put up with a hot and believable scenario with the characters.
I'd put cash money down on the next update coming on or very close to the day they announce in their next Patreon update.
