wonder what's gonna happen in the Aidan POV in this case and what creative way will he NOT see what's happening. likewise, in the Aidan + everyone else POV, wonder how Luna's mental state will go since she's doing all this to lower Vargas's defenses against her and the team and to get info on the cure to Aidan's poison.

Oh hell yes. That is the kind of thing I wanted to see. No pain, no physical domination, but a physical sign of Luna's submission she has to wear, knowing what it is and hiding it all the while. Excellent. I hope that it's paired with her emotional connection with Aiden falling when he shows how inflexible or unreliable he is. Not that he's weak - Luna's always been stronger and a better fighter - but his way of thinking and acting. Start her on the road to moving away from Aiden emotionally as she's wearing the used condoms of Vargas.

if only more devs understood this. what doesn't help is that some devs might feel pressure to put a date if some players become very vocal in getting updates quickly.

another thing to consider, although it's not really that common in games like this, is to show Vargas's own developing affection for or addiction to Luna's body. in femme fetale or seduction spy stories, the woman seducing the boss or higher up is usually successful in getting him to bend to her will and do things. in this story, maybe have Vargas give Luna more privileges to access restricted sites and equipment and spill the beans on certain secrets. this will go a long way to show how he himself is being "corrupted" by her. (bonus if his right-hand guy, Jin(?), starts to notice how his boss is changing to be more accommodating to Luna and the team.)

Yes they might feel pressured because theres always fans that are too impatient, but if theyre smart and experienced enough, they should know to ignore them.

So instead of trying to get the update in the way the super impatient fans would want, the devs should focus on THEIR OWN and their progress and getting the work done with the most passion and high quality they can give no matter how long it takes, that way even the most impatient fans wont be dissapointed and they would have zero reasons to talk bad about the dev or devs. (because many people actually do that and its not okay :/)

Azienda's MO is literally all this - quality, consistency, and patience. On top of that, they are transparent if things take a hit, yet their posts remain positive. They always seems like they are excited to provide us what's next, it's such a great attribute that they have. Also, they have completed all of their games. I can't stress enough how much better it is to just support them because they DELIVER.

going the other direction might have its negatives though. having fans, whether paying or non-paying, help keep devs on their toes if they are slacking in making the game. interestingly, many paying patrons tend to ignore some issues with devs that don't deliver because of the sunk cost fallacy, while non-paying fans are probably more critical and can smell bullshit when devs are too slow and under-deliver.

I think the best guesstimate of the project length is 15 episodes total, based on a stated desired project length of under 18 months.

Unless there's been more info that we've missed.

I agree the reaction will be huge. Aiden isnt a dumb protagonist, he has suspected many times already that Vargas might be touching her/harassing her. But he always writes it off because he trusts Luna and she always lies. My point is its believable cause of how the human mind works and hes rationalizing that shes not cheating on him.

He will be devastated once he finds out for real.
