Wolf RPG - Completed - False Myth [Final] [Fushidara tei]

Game is surprisingly fun to the point where I 100% it even with 0 interest in the H scenes.

Story: It's nothing to brag about but it is coherent and enjoyable. It has a good build up and a decent pay off. With only a few inconsistencies. Story progresses by going to events around the map. These events are not hidden andyou can buy an item early on for very cheap that lets you see where they are on the map. Very little grinding is required but sometimes a bit is if you need to up their hearts to see the next scene. Story will not progress until every possible scene has been viewed.

    Gameplay:
Combat system is pretty easy to grasp, its arock paper scissors style system where you can see your opponents hand an what cards he is playing. There is a chance some of the cards being played will not be shown. So you have to use their hand and the card cost to attempt to limit what card it could be. This system works fine and is mostly fun though can be a little RNG. And if you just farm up some gold you can make it so you have 100%visible enemy cards on all but the hidden boss. Equipment pretends to be important but realistically with the way the game plays damage and defense are both secondary to having the maximum card hand size. The other minigames vary from fun to boring. But over all they have a finished feeling to them

H scenes: Weakest point in the entry, Doesn't help that i'm not into Loli and these characters are all Loli. I don't have anything against pixel based porn graphics. In fact I have a few pixel graphic based games that are favorited. But these ones are both decent quality and abysmally low quality at the same time and I don't entirely know how to explain it. Minor things add up I suppose like the weird shading, the characters who have breasts they barely even move if at all. And the ones that do they more get misshapen rather than actually move.

Over all I give it a solid 4 stars, an argument could be made to lower it but the game was genuinely enjoyable for the game on it's own. And I do enjoy finding H games where I am far more interested in playing the game then looking at the H scenes.

Nice game, it was very fun to play.
It's rare that i could finish a hentai game, but this one i love it.
Gameplay is cool and simple, a little repetitive but not much boring.
Story is charming, the 3 heroines are cute and lovely. You want to know her future.
    Hentai is fun.
    Nice polish , nice game.

It is high end which I think is a primary reason it gets such high reviews.

But to keep overly short as there are some great in-depth reviews

    -1.5
It was too much of a porn game ruining some the story (the whole O hi there, ok lets have sex ???)
*also seems the gender bend was more just excuse why they a cute one and maybe a small kink potential kept minimal (borderling pointless)*
    -.5
and making some the gameplay less worth and feeling more grindy + hallway.

This game is awesome! great story, fun unique gamepley, likable characters and very good scenes. The devs have obviously put a lot of time, effort and love(lust? ) into the game. The mini games are fun too, a bit hard and demanding at times(I'm looking at you clown games!) but fun either way.

tl;dr: I hope you like tropes, because this game is stuffed full of them. Despite it's labeling, it's really more of a VN than rpg.

    Story and setting:
    - Everyone immediately completely trusts the protagonist since they're strong and not obviously rapey.
    - A woman you met yesterday goes "Here's some hand and blow jobs. Also, have sex with my daughter (the governor)." Said daughter doesn't need much encouragement either despite being inexperienced and also having just met the protagonist yesterday.
    - The protagonist gets turned into a dude and is immediately outrageously horny for women. I'm not even sure why genderswap is included here if the devs aren't really going to do anything with it and the protagonist just rolls with it; he could have always just been a horny dude from the start.
    - Here are some characters who are clearly the baddies. In case you somehow missed it, oh, they also do rape and slavery
    - Here's a dude who did attempted kidnapping, kidnapping, attempted rape, rape, attempted murder, and probably regular murder too. How are we gonna deal with him? Imprisonment? We got the governor right here. Stab him through they eyes and string his corpse up to warn all the other lowlifes? We got daggers and the governor right here. No. No no no. Standard tropey nonsense of him somehow always getting away after we pound him into the ground.
    - Neither the characters nor the story have any nuance.
    - The second sidekick is an androphobe, but it is (unsurprisingly) the tropey anime-style of androphobia.
    - The general tone is light-hearted... then there's also rape and slavery. To make the game more "adult." I guess?

    Gameplay:
    - There's a day/night cycle, but you can't do anything at night except go back home and sleep. I suppose the dev wants to simulate the passage of time, but again, we met yesterday and now blowjobs.
    - You need to purchase fast travel. Sure, it's cheap, but half the game is warping around the map.
    - The protagonist doesn't level up himself; instead all stat gains are from randomly-found equipment and sidekick level-ups
    - Dungeons are linear
    - I hope you like the main girl, since you can't avoid sex acts with her. You need to go through those to advance the story, not that sexual awakening or corruption are actually parts of the story. You also need to go through the said sex acts and story to access more dungeons.

    English.
Much more complex, dense and longer than the previous ones.
The story has a clear theme and very good characters, very good world. Beautifully continues the story of the previous ones.
Combat is simple, and lags a bit, but ultimately functional and fun. The amount and quality of pixel art/H content is excellent. The fishing is more bearable.
My complaints only on a technical level. Some sounds louder than they should be and the text box is sometimes too bright.
    The UI has improved considerably.
Visually, sonically, playably and narratively; a fantastic experience.
    Between 15-20 hours of gameplay.

    Hunter's Reprisal

I'm going to try my best to not spoil anything in the review

    Plot: 3.5/5
The game has only 4 chapters. Too be honest, the story what kept me playing. It has its ups and downs depending on the person. The story is about a young female assassin named Rogue who ran away from her organization, The Shadow Hunters. Due to unexpected events, she became a male and got herself involved with a country's affair which then became a home to her. Rogue basically accepted that she's a man now and enjoys being one, so i'll say her pronouns as a he now. There were a lot of character development, amazing introductions to these characters, and many twists throughout the story. There were also a lot of lore and world development in the story which was interesting.

I would of straight up rate this story as 5/5 if it wasn't for many plot holes and the weird anti-climatic ending after witnesses so much build ups in the story. There so much plots holes and questions after completing the game which will be explained in the characters section. However, the story ended with some suspense which hopefully indicate a sequel to the story continuing to finish some confusions and questions

    Characters: 4/5
The characters are all interesting and likable. Each of them has their history and unique traits. However, few of the side characters didn't really have much time on screen when they basically deserve it. The Shopkeeper had enough build ups to the point where she can be part of the story, or at least have a relationship with Rogue aside from a friendly store owner/costumer relationship. Also there were so much plot holes in the story. What happen with some of the villains in the story? After we foiled their plans, they were never seen again. Also, some characters that did get screen time didn't really get as much as they should like the main girls.

    Gameplay: 4/5
The game's fighting style is a rock, paper, scissor card system which was unique compare to other rpg games. There were also other factors that made the game interesting, such as gambling, minigames, fishing, correlations with relationships with your girls to gameplay, and special gearing system. A lot of effort seemed to be put into this. However, just because a lot of effort was put into this doesn't mean it's perfect.

The downside to the gameplay is kind of more RNG base then skill base. You can use your own mathematic skills or logic to manipulate the rng to a certain extent. But, in the end of the day, rng can ruin you or not. The game is also absurdly grindy for little rewards. If you want to speed up your process like I did, use cheat engine>find the value of your gold and rinnel> change it.

    Visuals 5/5
Despite the H-scenes being pixels, the dialogue was good. Also, the many scenes and visuals of all the character was great and has its charms. Since this was the intention of the game to make the art pixelated, they did good job on capitalizing it. I do wish for the game to have some 2D CG art instead of pixel arts. This might also make many not play the game. Some may like it, and some may hate it.

    Music/Sounds: 5/5
I enjoy the music OST of the game. Many of the OST were peaceful and some were spicy. It really gives the game a good setting. Also the choices for sound effects were really good.

Overall, I will give this a 4.5/5. However, this is just me being generous since I did enjoy the story and gameplay until I've found out that there is a lot of questions that hasn't been answered. There are some minor end-game content that was cool and hopefully it will be an indication that there might be a sequel to the game.

It depends on the person whether they like the game or not.

Also, I exactly understand why the game is called False Myth. I have some ideas... But I wouldn't say it's the reason why.

EDIT: So apparently this is another "world" which was hinted by the shopkeeper in this game. And, she was in a different game made by the same developer. So some of the questions that were left unanswered were answered... But there are some questions specifically in this game that hasn't been answered yet.

I really liked the game, all the characters had personality's and flaws not just mindless beings for sex. Like a good story it made you care about them. The game is definitely grindy, but in the end I found the story worth it.

The struggle of mixing h and game to make an h-game is everlasting. If you do too much h, then there's no game. If you do too much game, then there's not enough h. False Myth is a game first and h-game second.

    Story 6/10

The story is looooong. Saves have a "played time" so I know how long it took me to beat this game. 20 hours. It took 20 hours to beat this game while reading every single line of text.

The story's MC is Rogue. An ex-assassin of a church's shadow hunter group. Rogue gets gender swapped FtM and is incredibly horny. Church wants to take over everything, there's a demon girl who's trying to make the pope immortal, the demon girl does experiments on demonification which fail and demon-person goes on rampages which drives the story. Hard to summarize. It was a long game.

So, why 6/10? The story wasn't that good. People behaved... strangely, as in, they did dumb things for the sake of the plot. Each character, and I mean every most every side character, has a lot of screen time and develops the character and the plot. But it all doesn't really come together. Lots of characters are fleshed out... for what? Lots of side characters are just that: side characters. They do nothing for the plot. Like the special shop girl. She's got a lot of plot development. You never bang her. She just sells special items for the entire game and you watch her character kinda develop.

I'm rating the story as high as it is because of its complexity. There was a genuine attempt at plot development, story telling, character development, and narratives. But this game only gets a 6 on the story because the story it tells just wasn't interesting and the ending was just anti-climatic.

    Gameplay 5/10

There's two major parts to the gameplay. The story telling narrative and the combat system. There's tons of subsystems, such as the heroine love system, but it's inconsequential (it's a requirement to raise heroine love for story triggers).

Story: You freely walk around town and trigger story elements. Essentially, this game is... a hallway simulator. There's a main story quest which leads you around town and optional side quest things (but it's all just story). So imo, I would consider this game to be similar to a kinetic novel. There are no choices to make and there's a single main story quest you play for the entire game.

Combat: The combat... is something. It's unique. It's like a triangle rock paper scissors try to win game. The combat isn't bad, but it's long. This game is very long and the combat just makes it longer.

    Art 2/10

First off the art style is not to my tastes. So take what I say with a grain of salt. There are two types of art. Character talking art and the moving pixel art. The h only comes in the flavor of moving pixel art.

The normal character art is... lacking. It's very childish anime type. e.g. Marika. She's supposed to be drop dead gorgeous. She's not. Her hair's cut all uneven and she's got the body of an 11 year old boy. You can't just say someone's gorgeous but not be able to draw it.

The pixel h-art. Why you're here. Imo, it's not that good. There's 3 main girls (and 3 side girls) and they all have pixel h-art. But again, imo, it's just not that good. Again, I'm not a pixel art fan but I've rated some pixel h-art highly when it's awesome. This game does not do that.

    Overall 5/10

H-density. Percentage of the game that's h-content. This game took 20 hours to beat (and 30 min - 1 hour of post game content) and there's about 30 minutes of h-content. So this game has an h-density of 2.5%. Terrible. You'd get more h-density in a gaming subreddit.

This game is 100% driven by the intricate story. But that's the problem. I want a story that interleaves h-content for a satisfying playing experience. I don't want a game that places h-content on the sideline.

This is one of the few games I played to the end. I'm satisfied and I will buy this game out of respect for the creator

At first I was a bit bored because of too much dialogue, to be honest I skip few events. But after a few minutes I started playing this game thoroughly. I hope there is a sequel because I want to kill that bald pope

Really fun game, combat is fast intuitive and easy and mini-games are kind of fun (ones more than others, nonetheless). By other way, the pixel art is kind of original. I love it!

Characters are full fledged and nice to be interacted with, in a way that I almost miss more interaction with them, more banter, to have more dialogues!

Finally for the history, seems kind of standard, but I rally didn't finalized it so, we will see!

    A game to play!

I usually play hentai RPGs expecting mostly smut and not much of a story which is why this game surpassed all expectations. An interesting and addicting combat system, a well written story with a lot of twists and turns, a protagonist with a lot of depth and character, great sound design that fits the theme, heroines that aren't just boobs and vaginas with legs, and one of the most likable and well written villainess I have ever seen from a hentai game. Oh, and there's also high quality pixel hentai. The only downside is the lack of end game content which I can overlook because everything else is great. This game is a real hidden gem.

This is a lighthearted game with a nice break from all the rape and weird sexual encounters you get into in other games. The biggest charm of the game is the character development with the three main heroines and obviously the MC. The story albeit small sucked me and kept me interested all the way through.

    WhyDidI100%This Again

I do not know how to post this in the review section but here I go.
This game is fun actually fun if you are looking for a decent plot and long game time this is the one for you.
The combat is actually interesting, I cannot even begin to count the number of times I have played a game and very quickly found a way to break the combat system to my advantage and yet with this game that is not possible. Oh sure you can try and get good Equipment to get the most out of your hand size but in the end you still need luck on your side for the cards to give you what you need. If there is one complaint I have about this game it is that it can be really grindy and not very good at the rewards for it. You do not level up AT ALL, only your female companions do and while the first few levels are cake walks the last ones take a ridiculous amount of time to do later on. I have seen people recommend you buy the exp book but I never found it to be of much use.
The sex scenes are something different for certain as most if not all games I have played have had a anime style to the scenes or maybe pictures where only a few things change between dialogue, I will not lie I did not expect the greatest scenes going in but they were surprisingly good to enjoy and the amount of them is not small. It is very based towards Lolita based content so while there is a buxom Milf character your mostly going to enjoy her daughter instead and the next two main girls are not much better but again the animation kinda makes up for it.
Secrets in games are nothing new but hoo boy are there a fair number in this game. First off donate to Sebastian whenever you can and make bloody sure to buy his job gold double when it becomes available as this expedites the process of making money very quickly. You can only donate a certain amount per chapter so watch out when you change chapters as it may benefit you to do some money grinding before moving on. The reason for this is that when you hit the final threshold it unlocks a secret dungeon that gives you a really good piece of armor and an item that is super expensive, just remember to fight almost everything in the dungeon. Second even if it seems like a waste of rinnel buy all the fish guides if you dont want to actually fish for everything on the menu the reward is a bit odd and wont help in game but it is interesting to find. Thirdly and I cannot stress this enough BE VERY CAREFUL AGAINST THE SECRET BOSS I wont spoil much here but he can and will one shot you given any chance at all so yeah be very careful, succeed and your reward is the best weapon in the game.
All in all this game takes a while to get going I wont argue that and it feels like it takes a while to get any real boosters going but it is worth it in the long run and I will be saving this game in my to play again folder.

    adam~

for me this game is 5 stars, story part is quite nice. You play as a boii or SHE boii depend on what you like to call on his adventure. 1 things you should look into is the city. the atmosphere is nice with the music, it just make you can relax a bit. Do keep it mind this game is a bit grindy thus if you are looking for quick fap this game probably wont be the best choice.

Now for the battle you use card to battle bigger number win and with some counter card similiar to rock paper scissor. But i must say that in most scenario more card is better than high dmg card as epecially in the long grind run.Difficulty is very low as you can summon the robot to ease your gameplay if you wanted to.

Thus conclusion if you are looking for a nice looking game with slow pace this game is quite nice. BUT IF YOU WANT QUICK LEWD then this is a NO NO.

    teddidiah

It's an alright game, which means it's on up there. The sprite sex is good, the combat system is a little dull but still snappy enough to get through it quickly and the characters involved are all at least interesting and very individualized, though the story itself is pretty bland. As a game, it has some serious issues with pacing and everything seems to take a little longer then it should... outside of character relationships, which are take some big, sometimes hilarious leaps forward at random times. Not too big, but more so "the MILF taught me blowjobs so I am going to suck you dry now" from the innocent gang, etc.

The worst I can say about it is the game is pretty LGBT insensitive, the main character is forcefully FtM and the narrative itself constantly pushes them into being a dude for now having a penis (and no other change) despite their complaints and hesitance on the matter, among some other things. Rouge could have been a futanari character and it would have been a straight improvement in that regard. There is another transexual side character who is played for laughs, though still a trustworthy and supportive character, so if you're sensitive to sketchy trans takes then maybe steer clear of this title, but I wouldn't call it outright transphobic.

    PeacePeace

Good game, but has a major flaw. Firstly, quick comparison to Frontier of Sister Indulgence.

Superficially very similar games, but False Myth has more locations, better gameplay (i.e. any gameplay), and unfortunately only loli heroines/waifus, apart from a few sparse scenes with a heroine's mom.

Fishing, collecting and trading Rinnel, art assets, and music are all reused, but the fishing minigame is different & there are some new assets and music, which is pleasantly atmospheric anyway.

Main character is again a fem-boy with an out of control libido. They contextualize the reuse of the character as an accidental gender-swap, but it's obviously just an excuse to insert their favorite character type. The tacked-on anime backstory doesn't change much.

Speaking of that character, here's the problem.

Everyone here should be familiar with the unlikely playboy MC, stumbling into a harem with indestructible plot armor and the solutions to every problem they encounter.

Problem is this makes for a poor character. Good writers have the self-awareness to avoid cliche, infallible self-inserts, and make a conscious effort to humanize their characters. Bad writers typically believe they have that same self-awareness, yet fail to humanize their characters due, presumably, to whatever deficiencies they have which prevent them from an unbiased perspective of their fictitious creations.

Rouge, this game's MC, is the consequence of such a lack of self-awareness.

A few minutes into the game their gender is magically changed, but they take it in stride as if it was only a shallow plot device (which it is). The gender change is referenced when convenient and ignored just as casually for most of the game.

When Rouge isn't being pressured into accepting the sexual advances of enamored loli waifus, they're waltzing their way through mortal danger, being frequently reminded of how cool, strong & noble they are by their reluctantly adoring audience, most of whom 'fall in love' almost immediately.

On one hand, this is a pornographic fantasy harem game. It's fun for a few hours and delivers the gratification we desire for sexual satisfaction as a reward for effort.

On the other hand, Rouge is so blatantly, condescendingly competent and likeable that my attention is drawn to the artificiality of their design. Like a plastic reproduction of something organic which lacks the flaws of the real thing--the flaws are essential to one's perception of realism.

It's enough to make a man write an ill-conceived diatribe on some forum dubiously suited to that purpose.

Anyway, I do like pixel art, but anyone praising this game's animations really needs to play other games like Eroico by Kyrieru or Alternate DiMansion Diary by Sprite Hills to see what good pixel animation really is.

Also liked this game's combat, though the dungeon format could use some work to be less tedious. The combat itself is a bit frustratingly easy, in the sense that easy combat becomes tedious quickly, whereas challenge can be inherently engaging. Overall decent addition, much better than standard turn-based combat.

I'm in love with this game. Fun characters, interesting story, beautiful art, everything. If you like rpg games this is a must play. I would say more but it would be spoilers so I'll shut up but please play it you will not regret it. I think the best and the worst porn games are made in rpgmakers. False Myth goes into the best category.

    Erosia

This game.... is FUCKING. AMAZING. Holy shit. There's quite a bit to review here, because despite its file size this is a big game. Quite frankly it was worth the 30 hours of playtime I spent on it and more.

First a premise. You play as Rouge, a wandering runaway girl who gets injected with a potion that turns her into a very cute boy. Spoiler alert, she doesn't turn back and loves fucking girls because, duh, and the girls obviously don't care if she was a girl before. Only thing that would make it better is if she got them all pregnant in the ending.

The STORY, oh my lord, the story. Fushidara-Tei has completely outdone themselves in the story. 4 chapters worth and the characters are completely top notch. There are quite a few twists in the story, and people who are very good at reading foreshadowing and subtext will absolutely love this game's story.

The CHARACTERS, fucking hell they were done and fleshed out well. Almost every character has likability to them due to their backgrounds and interactions with other characters, and each interaction you see gives more history and nuance to them. You WILL love at least one of them. The main villains are a bit 2D however, since they're typically evil but that's acceptable since there are other antagonists who are more rounded.

The GAMEPLAY, the combat is very good, it's essentially a card guessing game where you select 3 cards against 3 enemy cards, essentially rock-paper-scissors. RNG decides which cards are shown, and you have to look at the enemies deck to see what they used against you and take a guess. Outside of combat, you go around looking for events, and of course, you have to level up your relations with your girls doing things like fishing, sex, eating at the diner or playing a minigame. Mostly fishing though, lol.

The SEX SCENES. My oh my, the sex scenes are very well done, and all in pixel art too! To be honest, while I definitely loved the sex scenes, the game's other aspects pulled me in far more. They definitely don't hurt of course.

False Myth is in every way, an improvement over Fushidara-Tei's previous work, Frontier of Sister Indulgence. And that game was also really good, so consider playing that as well. Not only that, but characters from their previous works also makes appearances in this game, keeping a sort of interlink between games with Ludu in particular representing FiSI and Nina from the Delta trilogy. This is very much worth the playthrough and I cannot recommend it enough.
