After installing the tl folder I get an error on the first click. And if I ignore the error I get another on the next and so on.

I dropped the "tl" folder into the game folder of my modded game and it's still in Chinese. To reiterate more specifically, I started with the modded game and now I have a folder named "tl" underneath the game folder. Inside the "tl" folder are two folders, one named "None" and one named "English".

It should be like this after you install the mod. And you can try to delete the script.rpa file if it is still not working

Alas, even after a clean install of the base game before installing the mod, deleting the _dot_scripts.rpa file, it still defaults to Chinese and refuses to change

There was another one in the part where MC is in the hotel room with Mia, after beating up the four kids iirc. Other than those two i didn't spot others. Basically it's two solitary bits that remain as Chinese.
