Quite a while ago I came across a thread on here about a set of demos for an upcoming japanese game.
From what I remember it had a "simulator" game aesthetic. You create your own character and are able to recruit others (other races, too. I remember elves being one of them). The outfits for these characters are completely customizable and you can find new armor/weapons specific to certain body types and classes in the dungeon areas. The dungeons were DOOM-styled and you could only move in cardinal directions exactly like in this game's dungeons. Pretty sure it wasn't rpgmaker but could be wrong on that. You could also rest at an inn and if you had any male party members they could steal the other female members.
If anyone knows what I'm rambling about I'd love to hear it, I have been looking for multiple hours and am slowly going insane.
