Someoone in reviews really said "way to grindy" omegalul. But this dude looking like woman, wtf is that View attachment 5631357
It's funny because the person reviewing the game has missed that it lets you hire 1 worker, but you can buy more than a couple. It literally has test items in the shop for cheating... But I mean, any feedback is useful. My early reviews thought it was too easy. Now it seems a bit hard.

About the design for the femboy character, honestly it's not what appeals to me. It's an attempt to create something that appeals to whom likes femboys. The AI also tends to "go full femenine or woman" but if you're looking for a more masculine man, there is one other worker. If there is an interest on more male fanservice, I'll try to service that, but I'm working a bit more on the code right now, since anyone can create packs.

Do let me know if you'd like more characters, more features... etc. And thanks for checking it out!

My workers have skill levels around 40-45 and in about 20 events where I gambled for the positive outcome it failed 20 times. Since then I just pray I don't get any. If the chances are this horrendous, I'd appreciate a warning what I'm getting myself into.

As long as there are lesbian only options I am fine. I personally do not care at all about looking at naked dudes. Femboy is alright though.

Good work so far and hopefully N7_Kira can come around and rethink about giving a negative review of a free game at release day. Especially when it seems to be based on wrong assumptions.

First of all, thanks a lot for sharing your experience, it's useful. In general with a 40 or 45 you have 45% chances of a success... however some events target the building skill, and not the worker's skill that is used. This happens, for example, when you are running out of hag potions, or if something bad happened to your restaurant, and not the worker. You were certainly unlucky, but I get it can be frustrating, I'm going to try and add a way to make events (especially the building ones) go easier.

My Antivirus flagged it as Malware, is it a false positive?
It is a false positive, the game has 2 *.exe files, and none of them are "Known", so it flags them as malware. I think it might be just the "devkit" and not the game itself: It has a feature to rename files for easier worker pack conversions and maybe that is seen as dangerous. You can check Virus Total and as I have previously said, if there is anything else I can do for you to feel safer about trying it, let me know.

I think you might end up seeing hetero sex if you run the prostitute job, but that could be fixed with a couple minor edits. If you are otherwise interested in playing, come to discord and I can create a small mod for you, and other people who share your tastes.

Maybe someone could put in the OP that this will get a lot false positives in AVs so that not every second post is about it.

It's very annoying, but many unknown *.exe get a "generic" warning and it's fairly common with renpy games, I have checked with virus total on my own game just to check it both "was" safe, and "looked" safe. The code is open, so if I'm doing anything weird, anyone should find it just with a text editor. You can check the game in Itch.io (hasn't been reported for virus and has 60+ downloads this version) and check in virus total.

But I have had bad experiences before, so I completely get you are being cautious.

If there is anything else I can do to make you confident in trying it, let me know :)
Just don't put this exe in the release. Is it used in the final game? Not sure

The devkit is sort of what makes the game, at least to me it's more about collecting and creating packs and characters, but I can try to keep both things separate for a future release, maybe it improves the flags.
I mean you already remove everything from this devkit folder in your release. Why just keeping this exe?

Depending on the game's interest, and how people use it, I might focus more on coding systems, whilst people create their own packs, or will create more packs. At the moment you could choose lady, and add images to the interactions you have with workers, and if the images display a female futa protagonist, then it's done. So that would be more about "crafting" the packs, than the systems. If we had a lot of futa packs, there could be value in doing that "filter", but I think it's easier to just mod the image packs right now... It does filter futa images, and for example, if a character has that trait, it will prioritize images with that prefix. Anyhow, that's a lot of code babbling.

In short it is not a priority but it is something that any player can somewhat easily do :)

I keep for people to create workers, traits, buildings, events, and do it with an interface. The devkit, and that exe, is the interface that helps you code all of those things :) Other files from that folder are the instructions for building that exe and those are not really necessary.

I see. BTW you need only 2 lines in your options.rpy to keep the exe only.

Python:
    build.classify('devkit/FantasyManager_Editor_v4.exe', 'all')
    build.classify('devkit/**', None)
