I made a test build for 0.2.7xx that I never released since I assumed 0.2.8 was going to be released publicly soon but that seems to not be the case. you can test the build here:

The game has a panic button bound to F1
Once you are out of the menu just hit that and you are save.
Alternatively you could turn off the sound.
...or lock your door :/

I put the files into the main games folder just as instructed but I can't open up the menu.

To change the keybind: after launching the game once, go into "Game Folder > BepInEx > config > FapNights.Cheats.cfg" with notepad and change "Unity KeyCode = BackQuote" with the Unity

So I tried to change the keybind but can't find the FapNights.Cheats.cfg file inside "config".

im slow in the head lol. does it not work with 0.2.8xxx? cause bepinex doesn't even launch when starting the game or anything it doesn't even have the fapnights cheat config either

I downgraded to 2.8, and yet the mod menu seems to not work? It just doesn't do anything when I press the key... I don't think this is too important to note but I'm on Linux and am running the game through Wine (and Proton, I alternate between them! But uh, I don't think it should really be causing an issue in this case.)

check your game version, it doesnt work on 0.2.8xxx

It is important that you are on Linux. On Windows it will check the game folder for system dlls before going to system32 while in wine/proton it will not. this is how BepInEx injects itself so you will have to follow this

That is the old cheat menu.
The game devs have long since imported anti-cheat measures resulting in the menu retiring.
Instead we have simple on screen commands now.
And no it does not work with 0.2.8xxx, xx, or x as stated above.

BepinEx crea los archivos de configuración despues de iniciar el juego una vez. Si no están todos, BepinEx no se está ejecutando cuando iniciaste el juego. Asegurate de colocar los archivos correctamente y de que no haya registros de errores dentro del director de tu juego. BepInEx puede generar un error si la ruta del directoro de tu juego tiene caracteres especiales, como un idioma diferente, o si es absurdamente grande y está ubicada en varias alfombras. Si tienes los archivos de configuración, asegúrate de buscar el correcto.

Here is a BepInEx mod that has a bunch of cheats to make the game easier like being invincible or increasing your money (Everything can be toggled on and off). the keybind to open the menu is BackQuote(`)/Tilde(~). Full list of features are in the Feature spoiler in this post.
