Not sure how long you've been following adult indie games, but after over two decades of seeing these things rise and fall, I believe I have noticed patterns and games with easy access to the good content don't seem to stick around. Mandatory delayed gratification is like an archeological find these days with companies focused on people pleasing and watered down content that appeals to the largest audience possible. But I digress.
If this is an issue i can't relate.
Because this is how porn is consumed.
They consume it and move to new material.
If they like the material they keep it.
If they don't, they delete it.
And thus...
I have seen this crap for two decades as well, and often people skip the gameplay because usually it's as on par as any other plot for porn, second-thought.
And quite frequently you'd find the reward for doing the grind be the most dissapointing erotic scenes, so more people want to avoid wasting that time.
That's why this website is covered with "full save" or "gallery" requests.
They're here to rub one out, if they're interested in gameplay, then their consoles or Steam offer more viable options.
Your arguement is sound if the gameplay is entertaining enough, or ease of access to said content.
Obscure unlocks requiring guides or hours of grinding?
This ain't it.
