VN - Ren'Py - Far-Off Friends [v0.9] [FFCreations]

After seeing this one going at 3 1/2 stars and being the initial offering of the game I almost passed.. I figured not so good reviews and little content. What a mistake that would have been! This one has great graphics.. stellar writing.. and a surprising amount of content. After reading pages of discussions I found that the DEV also has another game out that's on hold.. so I checked it out also.. and found out it was a game I had played in the past and liked.. so THEN I looked around to find out why it wasn't finished before starting another and found out the WRITER for it had been MIA for quite some time. I guess what I'm saying is.. don't believe everything you read.. if I had done that without doing some due diligence I wouldn't be sitting hear fat and happy as I write this.. An amazing start to what looks to be an amazing game. Nice work FFCreations.. I can't wait til the next update!

good so far however i'm not a big fan of the milf pushing.. the game would work far better with more of an optional girl system to allow a more freedom to choose option.. audio is great, character design good if not a bit over the top when it comes to the bigger busted types.. the story seems like it could be popular and interesting to play long term if the milf-factor stuff is toned down a bit, choice to avoid it given and lean a bit more into the college enviroment since thats the 'hot topic' it seems atm.. The game has promise so long as it keep the STORY strong and doesnt fall victim to over horny stimuli of the milf variety and has great character relationship chemistry like was starting to develop between mc and erika.. with the right amount of focus this could be a welcome addition to the college game/sim romance avn field.. I really enjoyed Freeloading Family, but this game is uninteresting in comparison.
My main problem is the protagonist: he's another immature young guy, who thinks with his dick to much. Some of his decisions does simply not make any sense. He is one of those who thinks every, at least somewhat, nice and attractive girl is hot.(this game is far from the worst, but I still find it annoying).
At one point when he is waiting for somebody, he creepily stares at some girls ass, and of course he gets caught. It is fine if they just check out somebody, but he did it so much, that it is just creepy.
The girls are boring and forgettable, but the protagonist describes them as very funny and likable.
Story this far is simple, which is not bad. but would be better if mc was smarter.

this game gets 2 stars instead of 1 because I see some good potential, but it will be needing some rewriting for the game to properly show it.

I'm surprised by how well executed this VN was. The premise is new but not original, and it uses a lot of intrigue, but overall, this is an excellent demo/initial release. There are some interesting characters and a good premise. There are some minor hiccups with dialogues, but nothing major.
