Instead of just including the new renders in the mod why not include the whole game with the new renders?

At the moment I need to download a 1.8gb main file then this 1.4gb mod and copy over most of what I just download. I guess i could download the compressed version of the main file, but it would still, to me, seem easier to just include the extra 400mb game files in with the mod.

I think i am dumb or something, but i dowloaded the ep1 and this visual mod but i got an error once i click "start", i read the instructions for sure i supossed to copy the files from mod over orginal files but all of them are .rpa file and i dont know how subtitue them, someone know what i have to do (besides playing the original game) ?
