-Also addressing the second half of the above point, there's a fair chance I'll add some kind of "rest" node. This would allow characters both interact with one another and potentially heal. However, I will say, as some who really likes fat girls - I don't really like watching them become not fat. That's why healing is so limited.
Wanna put my own two cents on this. I don't know if I'm just a massive idiot, but it took me 6 whole runs just to beat the final boss of layer 1. A good chunk of why this was, was that I kept seeing "mini-boss = greater loot", which activated my monkey-brain so that I never clicked on standard battles. Obv I assigned the loot correctly, not that dumb, but still got too fat by the end.
But the moment I realised my problem, I finished the run with 0 loot and, with a bit of a struggle and a few close-calls, managed to defeat the boss. What's even the point of loot and fighting harder enemies then? I feel like it's a tad unbalanced.
Problem here, is that you tied in health loss with fatness increase. Obv no one wants the fat level down, but you go too fat and you're just teetering off the edge of a tedious restart. That other game with your ai pics, Tower of gluttony did it well. Higher fat = more health = less agility. This way you could get as fat as you wanted and if you balanced your points, still win. I get that in your system damage = fat, but maybe you can balance this off a bit. Sakura at immobility can be used as a wall by other members, a max level block. But in exchange she cant attack. The gunner can choose only one attack to keep in her arsenal at immobility, since she cant swap guns. Same for the support-chara white woman.
I also wanna give a criticism of my own, regarding the names. Sakura is pink, easy enough. Took me a while with the 3 other cast, but it's doable. Mara and Kassandra are english and DISTINCT enough. This is where the problem starts. There's an angel or something with an X name, and the blue demon also has an X name. Like I literally have no way to remember them. Xylophone or something? Idk. And even with the factions, I had a headache in the prologue trying to memorise them. Like I only know Sakura's from that Tau V-something cause it's abbreviated as TV. And there's two I-names I think? Inquisitors, and something else? Like how am I supposed to retain this in my smooth brain? The hundreds of abilities and tokens also took a lot of time to get used to, which goes without saying.
