I think you'll have better luck just playing in the android browser, even though the game is not quite optimized to do so. Considering it's a Twine game, after all.
EDIT: Had a go at trying on Joiplay myself, it might be that Joiplay doesn't support twine games with Javascript anymore as I can't get it to work either. That or Jup did some new scripting which voided Joiplay support. The latter seems to correlate with the small host of bugs myself and others experienced in the 0.2 version (at least on release, idk how much the bugfixes on the latest version have fixed them).
