Hey, guys!
We play adult and porn games for fun and entertainment. Sexy characters and hardcore action are at the core of most games. However, main game setting contributes a lot to the story, characters development and determines the overall impression of an adult game. So here's the question: which background setting is your most favorite and makes you enjoy the game even more?
*This poll allows choosing two favorite options.

I basically like fantasy and science-fiction equally. When it comes to porn games though, in fantasy setting I prefer those worlds where high heels, lingerie and strap-on dildos for lesbians are already invented to classical medieval fantasy.

Horror settings are fine too, but from my perspective there is large range between super hot (lesbian vampire seduces milfs into first lesbian encounters and then enslaves them), romantic (werewolf and witch fall in love, the wolf's pack and witch's coven are pissed) and gross (gangbang with zombies, mad scientist turns protagonist into Frankensteins sex doll).

I do play games with contemporary settings like Milf's Tale and Inevitable Relations but I usually don't care that much about story and character development as I would in a fantasy or sci-fi game.

My two favorite games feature fairies and modern times. And I also like magic in modern times, games like The Artifact, or Dreams of Desire. I am a huge star wars nerd, but Star Wars has always put its fantasy elements ahead of its sci-fi, and that's kinda how I feel too. Sci-fi works best as a commentary on society, Wall-e, Ex Machina, etc. So, if I was to write a sci-fi porn game it would probably feel more like Dual Family, really depressing with some bright moments. But fantasy is an escape, and that's normally what I look for in porn.

Well, that's a tricky question. I tend to prefer Sci-Fi/Heroic-Fantasy games but absolutely not because of the theme itself. It's just that, paradoxically, they generally feel more reals.
I mean, it's a pure fantasist universe, so corrupting people by magic, enslaving them with the help of technology and things like this are credible. This while games in a more realistic universe tend to feel weird because things don't works like this. Take by example. Magic, daemons, but in nowadays world... I like this game, but still, for me, it feel kind of weird. I would have liked it more if it was made in an less realistic universe.

If I could make a porn game, it would propably be set in dystopian world similar to the one from Shadowrun with both high technology and magic, with a magically gifted, powerful female domina-like protagonist, who has ambitions for ruling either the underground or the corporate world. After using her magical skills to make some money as a mercenary she starts her own business. She offers her mom and sister a place at her appartment (but at a price...) and gets to know (and dominate) some other women. She coulld use magic and cybernetic implants to improve and dominate her harem. It would be an 90% lesbian game of course, with the protagonist being involved only in lesbian action, though she would have the chance to send women from her harem to seduce and spy on (or assassinate, she is not a good girl) her male enemies (bosses of other corporations or fundamentlist anti-magic inquisitors). For female enemies, she will have the chance of (magically) seducing them herself and tricking them into submission, gaining control over their possions in the process.

I'm not quite sure, if it would be set on Earth or another planet, maybe there would be the chance to travel on either, maybe the protagonist had her own spaceship, where she could her pleasures from the world. Cybernetic implants would be a special kind of fetish in this game too. I imagine the protagonist having a cyborg lady as a second-in-command.

I'm a bit of an odd one, as I fit in none of the category. I like to explore and mix things, because as I see it, the virtual world is a place to make the impossible possible.

Had to choose the last one, as it's very much depends on engine, artstyle, writing, and the always very important, setting. And by this I mean the more defined setting. Schoolgirl for instance. Is it a from a teachers perspective, a students, a family members, or a pervy stranger. Many factors, and not so easy to pin down. But mostly... if got boobs, you got my attention. If it got boobs AND a dick on the same person, you lost it again.

This poll is very one sided, based on the breakdowns you placed in each category... You may want to change the thread title, since it is very much being asked from a male perspective... What if a woman wanted to answer and she is straight? None of the choices play into that... It's a bit of a sexist poll...

Perhaps change the title to: What is your most favorite female porn game setting?

Because it is definitely not a gender neutral poll, as the question first suggests...

Hey,
Any woman, straight or not, is welcome to participate in this poll, no strings attached. You may also create your own poll with any title of your choice. :)

Just because some male or female examples were given, doesn't mean the poll itself assumes some perspective. The fantasy setting has a male and a female example - do think only bisexual should select it?
So personally I see no reason why I straight woman wouldn't be able to say wether she likes fantasy, sci-fi, horror or daily-life settings.

The issue doesn't show in the categories themselves but in how the author described each category... A straight woman who isn't into women could not select any of them because they all include things like "Sexy Space Girls", "Scared Busty Chicks", "Naïve Schoolgirls", "Busty Moms", "Hot Princesses", "Cute Elf Girls", "Anything with Boobs"... So for a straight woman who isn't into other women, none of these categories would apply because every one of them has one sided male perspective put into their entire wording (even if bi-sexual women or lesbian women could technically answer this poll)... It is still a sexist poll, no matter how you try to dress it up or make up excuses, because of how the poll choices are worded... That doesn't necessarily void the poll... I was just pointing out it's inherent flaw... It would have been more gender neutral if the breakdowns had not been included, and therefore would have been more inclusive and maybe received more member participation...

Hmm: I'm a straight man. Fantasy includes brave knights, a male archetype. I had no problem selecting fantasy. So no, you don't have to be sexually attracted to all the examples given in the description.

I get both sides of this, but from the perspective Zippity is arguing, Zippity is correct in saying the poll is flawed in its wording. Such a flaw in its wording will skew the result. Its a scientific fact of polling that your wording has to be as unbiased as possible in order to be accurate.

I see the poll as gender neutral, as it is a poll about setting, not about fetishes or sexual orientation.

They have a description with some examples, but the examples are not the main idea of the poll.

Would I rather see a nurse fuck a busty mom or a brave knight fuck a cute elf girl? I'd rather get off to mom and nurse, that's for sure! But still, as far as the setting goes, I favor fantasy over daily life.

But by putting those examples (all of which are most definitely male liking sexy females based) you are asking for someone to agree to all that is said in that category to include the examples... And if the example is biased rather then being neutral, it makes the whole choice biased... Therefore alienating a whole section of members from being able to completely agree with any of the choices as listed... I hope that makes sense...

Straight men are typically neither into knights, nor orcs, nor alien creatures, nor monster nor zombies. School, college, hospital, space ships, dragons are all neutral descriptions of the setting. Teachers and vampires can be male or female, with a lot more women fetishing vampires than men. Even in case somebody likes or dislikes on of the archetypical characters mentioned, he or she should know wether he or she also likes or dislikes the setting.

I like milfs, but I don't like daily life settings.
I like fantasy, but I only like elves if they are not to skinny.
I like science-fiction, but I don't like sex with alien creatures.

Nowhere is some expected to agree to like all the examples.

The examples are just there to give a basic idea of characters, you may meet in a certain setting, but you could just as easily not give any examples and get the same results.
