I'm interested in seeing what people favorite characters in h-games are. Not much more to it than that. Can be male, female, whatever. Reason can be whatever to. Weather you just like their design a lot, or if the game they're in has really good scenes, or you like the personality of the character. I'll start with 2 characters since I have a favorite female and male (As scarce as they are a lot of the time.).
I think my favorite female character is probably Flode from Ambrosia. I have a couple reasons, but I feel like a big reason I like her might just be from me looking way to far into dialogue of a H-Game regardless it made me like her character more than I already did. First off, I kinda just have a thing for priestess/nun characters. Which probably gives me a one way ticket to hell should it exist but it's probably to late to repent even if I cared all that much. Secondly, Overall I just really liked Ambrosia as well as all the scenes in it, and her personality was a pretty decent part of that. Finally and again this could just be me looking way to far into dialogue but regardless. It seemed like in the game even when you took the less pure route she was still treated as a pretty big threat and scared some people. Which is reasonable considering the enemies you end up fighting. But still it's not something that I feel like you see all that often. Usually if you chose to go for the lewd route npcs don't really respect you, despite the fact that you still more than likely have killed hundreds by mid game. I should mention that I did the "pure" route first and did pretty much all the bonus content I could in that route. But again, I could be over analyzing a lot here.
As for my favorite male character. While there's not a lot of choices considering it's rare for a male character to have much of a personality in a h-game let alone it being a interesting one. Which is fine in most cases. Since most of the time their kinda just meant to be a self-insert for the player. But I feel like I end up liking male protagonists more if they at least have a portrait or way of seeing their appearance. I'm noticing I'm getting side tracked so I'll just go ahead and say who it is I'm thinking of. It's Luka. Probably not the most interesting pick but, I don't know. I really like Luka. He's portrayed as a bit of a naive idiot most of the time, but if anything that just make me like him more. He's determined even when his goal seems literally impossible and countless obstacles are put in his way. While those are generic "Hero" protagonist traits that doesn't make me like them any less. He's honestly probably my favorite character in any H-game, which feels odd to say. But to me he's just really interesting and has quite a few badass moments in both paradox and the original. A character with Luka's traits would be just as interesting in a normal game to me. Plus while I know it's not "cannon" I guess. The Labyrinth of Chaos super bosses, Judgement and Worldbreaker. Are just really fucking cool to me (Especially Judgement), and I honestly hope that they manage to become more than super bosses in some sort of way, Maybe as like a form change type move near the end of the game depending on who your starting partner is. I realize I've been rambling for awhile now though so I'll wrap this up.
