Ok, maybe most of the forum members here play the games on mute.
But in case you do actually listen to the music while playing the game and if there was some game you really liked for the use of soundtrack then which one was it and what did you like about it? Any particular moments that stood out?

I for one really prefer games that have audio to complement the playing experience. Although, I have played VN's where there was no audio featured whatsoever, and the experiences still have been enjoyable for the most part, owing it to the story-driven nature of the games. So, to me, story and characters are the most important aspect, then if the audio is there then that's great. If not, I could still enjoy if the storyline is gripping (I like Terminus Reach for this reason). Sex can take the backseat, though, it's nice to see something sexy here and there.

As for the games that do have sounds:

Now & Then - https://f95zone.to/threads/now-then-v0-99-0-ilsproductions.51634/
I really liked the soundtrack for this amazing VN. It fits the theme pretty well, and there's a piece featured in it that sounds some sort of gypsy jazz with flute that quickly became my favourite.

Leap of Faith - https://f95zone.to/threads/leap-of-faith-ch-8-driftygames.48734/
This emotionally charged game features some cool songs and dramatic score. Especially since one of the love interests is a huge pop artist, in the VN some of the songs are introduced as her work. The audio really complements the whole experience.

Melody - https://f95zone.to/threads/melody-v1-00-extras-mrdots-games.10668/
Melody is the very first VN I played. I still remember some of the music I would hear during the gameplay, and I'd get all nostalgic over it. Again, the music fits the game nicely.

A.O.A. Academy - https://f95zone.to/threads/a-o-a-academy-ch-5-gold-tlggames.62139/
I'm almost "finished" playing this one, and I keep prolonging the gameplay because it's such a good VN. The music featured adds a lot to the emotionally-driven nature of the story. Too bad it's an abandoned project (I remain hopeful)!

Avalon - https://f95zone.to/threads/avalon-v8-2-lockheart.44397/
I think this is a great game that has some really nice music. Some of the pieces are melancholy sounding, and adds to the storyline's darker segments. The Chinese therapist introduction scene, coupled with the visual, features a beautiful sounding piece of music, too.

I also like the music (and also sound effects) of the following, again, for the reason that the score fits the stories:

Once in a Lifetime - https://f95zone.to/threads/once-in-a-lifetime-v1-0-caribdis.37470/
Long Live the Princess- https://f95zone.to/threads/long-live-the-princess-v1-0-1-belle.5259/
After the Inferno - https://f95zone.to/threads/after-the-inferno-v1-0-classy-lemon.84610/
Acting Lessons - https://f95zone.to/threads/acting-lessons-v1-0-2-drpinkcake.12181/
Fates: Determination - https://f95zone.to/threads/fates-determination-ep-1-6-extasy-games.108712/

I might be forgetting a few more.
