Last stupid question, does time pass only when I sleep in a bed or is there a timer on the overworld, say it goes to the next day after 2 IRL hors or something. I know the first game had a time counting down to reach the knight. Would rather this game didn't do that.

No. Time passes only when you sleep. The only thing to worry about with irl time is the hunger meter. Also not stupid questions. This game is hard af and I would've gotten nowhere without scouring the wiki first lol.

Is this patch not compatible with the version of the mod on page 33? For some reason the game will not go beyond the loading screen when I apply this patch.
Im not sure why applying mods to this is so complex,like i got the pack with sexmod but added the subdue addon to the game files and im stuck in a loading screen,people says it needs the non-decrypted game version..like..what?
nvm..was able to figure that out but i got thrown to the pigs then after the scene now im stuck in a loading screen..again.. -_-

By sleeping somewhere in bed (you don't want that, as it progresses half a day, and some things change), or
on a special magic-like circle. Forgot which one. They do multiple things, but check the wiki first.
Maybe there is this Scroll of Enlightment from first game that makes you save in exact place.
Game is brutal, so don't be afraid to cheat (cheat menu, not engine). The few new encounters on normal/brutal aren't worth it.
