Alright, just replayed it and the game works just fine now.
0.3.1 review
First of all, I want to praise the speed with which the game has been fixed.
LESS than 24 hours. That's excellent.
Second, my favorite part of your updates is always seeing how you make the feet fit the appearance of the characters, and once again you did not disappoint with Shadowheart. Those juicy soles are exactly how I imagine her feet to look like.
The teacher had nylons on so I couldn't really judge them yet, but I can't wait to see her barefoot.
Fantastic feet scenes all around.
The advance time button is fine where it is, but I would add a quick tutorial (just one line of dialogue) explaining that you need to manually advance time and maybe briefly explain how the open world works, so that those that don't like open world / sandbox games (I'm one of them by the way) have a good idea of what they can or cannot miss <- I think this is the most annoying part of open world games for us. I would avoid missable scenes entirely.
Let's talk more about the elephant in the room: the new open world system.
Your open world / sandbox system is very simple, not grindy, and I didn't find it annoying.
I don't think dropping the game over this is a good choice at all, it's not an intrusive system like most sandbox games out there.
Would I prefer this game if it was linear? Yes, absolutely.
Do I love this game even if it's open world? Yes, the scenes are hot asf.
What's my main concern about the new system? As more and more scenes get added, the open world will get more complex to manage. This will take time and effort away from what really matters: the porn scenes and the feet. I already encountered another issue where the last Shadowheart scene (or second to last, I don't remember) and the teacher scene at her house repeat themselves if you click on them like you've never seen them before, instead of showing the static background letting you know you've "cleared" the area. This lack in consistency does bring the feeling of high quality of the game down. With visual novels, it's much easier to create a feeling of an high quality game: you simply need good dialogue and good visuals. Open world games are far more complex, and they are not a solo dev endeavor imo. I know your Patreons voted open world, but you need to remember most people have no idea about game development; they just know open world is trendy and voted on it, without understanding what making an open world game as a solo developer truly means.
