I played the new test version this morning. Some things have changed and are even more readable. However, this version is plagued by massive graphical glitches, even worse than previous versions, especially if you choose a size other than medium. Furthermore, there are only placeholders in the important places. So, the quick start with the quick decisions doesn't work.
A long way from release, it would be enough for me to have played it once, but afterward I'd rather go back to the actual life path to give Kate a profile.
Voctoria's work is certainly commendable in some piquant places. The makeup is more subtle, and blushes of shame are depicted almost perfectly.

What just occurred to me: The last freely available version on his website is 1.20.1. The supporter version from December 2024 has the number 1.21.
The recently released test version has the number 1.13. So, a much older numbering.

That's what I mean by the numbering not being accurate. Currently, it's impossible to determine whether this is actually new content or just chunks of old, discarded versions into which new images are now being implemented, which would probably also explain why there are such massive graphical errors, since the new images aren't compatible with the old build.

I still have access to the Discord developer thread.
Crush posted his latest attempt there last night at 8:43 PM.
So far, only one member of this channel has engaged in a discussion with Crush. But that was over after three hours.
So much for the troll.
Why a troll? That the current dev version is a total mess- despite almost two years of "nonstop" work & two previous lifepath versions to copy from- is highly believable. This is milkman Crush we are dealing with. He will do the minimal work to maximize the angst while stringing out the process as long as humanly possible.
With the addition of "quick start" this is basically a repeat of the last two iterations the game went through. First it had the lifepath. Then he pruned the lifepath. Then he decided to add the lifepath back. Now he adds the option to (again) skip it.
To be fair, having optional lifepath is the preferable approach (if you don't mind putting all the work in it that could've gone into the game proper, when the player might simply not bother with it in the end) but he could've arrived to it way sooner and without all this back and forth.

The latest test version shared here was '1.22 unfinishedBeta'. The html title on all versions since 1.13 is 'Female Agent 1.13'. Numbering system is still okay - he just never updated the html title to confuse you
Not sure I've played that version. I notice it's available on the website. Is it essentially version 1.11 with older art?

Overall, yes.
Of course, there's more content in 1.11 in some places. The text is a bit more extensive, there are new scenes, you can choose your family more easily, tattos have been added, etc. In my opinion, 1.11 was definitely an improvement over 1.6.

The lifepath shit doesn't even make any sense. With Twine and the linear way he's been writing the game it's just too hard to make early decisions change content later in the story. Like what, he's going to write 6 different versions of every scene based on what you chose in the lifepath? We couldn't even get him to write 1 version to an ending (or even to becoming a bargirl...) None of the choices will make any difference if he's not writing the story (same as the tacked-on dice rolls like why?).
My whole thing has always been he just needs to write story. He's a good compelling story writer and I want moar but all he does is fuck around with stupid systems that won't work.

It'll always be a kinetic novel with a few optional text flavour anyway so lifepath is just a time-killer.
He's re-inventing the concept of "hotness" so he has taken a 20 months long spiritual retreat to work harder on his project . You shouldn't rush him.
He's working you know. Full time even.
Im not part of their discord, has the dev team provided any concrete ETA date for the next update? As I understand, There will no new content, rather just the re-invention of the lifepath leading up to the main game.
