No he didn't. If you play "smart" the game just end quickly and there is not sex scene. It's just "and they marry and live a happy life..."
If you read the rest of my comment, then you'd also see that this is exactly what I said. The author allowed for multiple routes to progress, but they failed spectacularly because you had to play the dumbest girl in the world. Furthermore, especially the stay-at-home route is basically just cut scenes with zero choice.

I suppose I could've worded my comment better, but I did comment what you also did.

I don't think they are dying. Corruption of Champions II and Trials in Tained Space both allow for female protagonists and they clear $30k/month via Patreon.

Maybe try more erotica and unless Hentai games?

Amen to that.

I'm also generally extremely bored many of the tropes in Japanese games. Especially those where the MC is like "I wonder what that bulge in their pants are" or "Why do you want me to lift my shirt". Ffs, nobody are that dense. I don't like playing some mentally restrained girl.

For instance, in Fleeting Iris, the author made the option to go down various routes, which is fine. So initially you can play a powerful, and clever girl who shoots holes in her employers plans to corrupt her. That was really cool. That is also when I found out that this route immediately led to the end of the game with the good ending. You had to purposefully play the dumbest girl in the world to progress the plot.

I also want a choice. I should be able to accept the blackmail, but the blackmail has to be believable. I should also be able to decline it, and both should have consequences. I really dislike if I'm forced into something, unless it was by my own choice.
I tend to think this is because they are incapable of writing something were the female is intelligent and still manage to carry the story forward.

Since you brought up fleeting Iris. The point of her getting a job was she wanted to contribute not just be a leech. So why would that stop simply because they got married? It wouldn't most likely. They might have a honey moon in between or something but there is no reason for her not to keep working. There can still be a number of ways to have a happy ending even if it continues.

I don't know why they seem to be only capable of writing about women in this manor. I could guess it has to do with the amount of personal interaction they themselves have had. If you never experienced something that would tend to explain why one has trouble writing about it.

There`s quite a few games with female MC`s and some are really good.

Bright Past, Panacea, Dog Days of Summer, Manila Shaw, Jessica O Neil hard news, Lily of the Valley, Fashion Business, Chloe18....just to name a few great ones.
That depends on your definition of good.
Fashion Business has massive plot holes and character issues.
Manila Show you forced to play as an moron if you want to see most the content.
Chloe 18 again the girl is made out to be a moron.
Panacea massive plot holes

My ruling on Jessica O Neil is still out I'll have to see how the story progresses.
Dog days of summer just isn't my cup of tea. So I won't say it is good or bad.

Saying something is good or bad is pretty subjective unless you are going to look at technical aspects.
You could say you enjoyed them but that isn't a guarantee the next person in line will have the same reaction you did to them.

If you are looking for depth, engrossing storylines and intelligent, chaste, female characters...you won`t find them on a porn site with porn games...

What I would like is a story written above a 5th grade level. I'm not even expecting above 8th grade. 7th- 8th grade is the standard reading and writing level of most people.
That mean no major plot holes.

You know the basics like inconsistencies in characters behavior. Don't introduce the character as being smart or in a position that would require brains to survive and then only allow them to act like complete morons.

No lazy writing issues such as the characters only response to a blackmail attempt being, "I have no choice but to go along with it," when in fact they have 10,000 other choices that are better.

This is literally shit 4th & 5th grade students can spot and are taught not to do.

I'm not evening complaining about grammar because English is the second language of so many developers. But all of them should have had in their own language a basic writing courses that covered plot holes.
No one in Europe has an excuse I lived there as a child. Their writing standards covered it when I was there and have gotten even better.

I believe it might have something to do with culture of those creating games - at least with Japanese games. The ideal is that the woman is innocent and naive. But they are so bad at making it that they end up making the woman pretty much retarded instead. It's mostly something I see in Asian games though. There's also the other annoying aspect in many Japanese games where the female MC has a really weird relation to their own body. They practically don't even know that men are attracted to body, and they barely know what their body can do. It's so lame, and boring writing.

Yeah, Fleeting Iris is such a missed opportunity. Generally, that game has almost zero choices except for the early game where you decide the path. Like, she can such a strong and clever girl in the restaurant - foiling that old geezer. But then you pick stay-at-home role to look after the grandpa and Ayame pretty much sneeze 75% of her brain out. Like, she becomes so ridiculously dense.

I also agree with your comment on plot holes and weird character warping. Have you played The Fate of Irnia? That's literally just one big plot hole that doesn't make sense. If the dev had stayed with the early game and worked from there, then they'd have a good game. But their mid and late game is atrocious.
