Yeah, I remember. I'm not against the idea, but iirc at the time most people voted against it, so I'm continuing the poll as it was, but with a slightly more strict rules, as last time we could also choose old games.

Also, the site voting is pretty limited, I could only choose a handful of games, and we would still need some voting to choose, which games we should post in the poll (if that would be my arbitrary decision then games like ToT wouldn't even qualify ). We'd also need a new thread as you can't edit polls in F95, and I don't know how many people would go to check new thread, when this one is pretty well established I believe. Also, the voting is for engaging within community, talk about the state of games throughout the year, what we liked, add some comments that could help others find something they might have missed, etc.

But I'm always open to new ideas.

Nice selections btw, although I haven't played as many femdom games this year as I usually do, (nor finished the latest ANLIS or Katalist updates for that matter) so I might take my time with the list, especially as I usually like supporting or highlighting smaller games with good storytelling that do not get too much attention - when's the deadline for casting our votes? And can I also nomimate Lezdom games?

Also, just throwing this out there before someone nominates it, people should keep in mind ToT was NOT upgraded this year, so it should not be eligible to receive any votes.

Jeez, this made me realize how few femdom games I've played this year. My top 5 goes something like this:

5. Neuvau: I remember liking this one, even though I haven't played it in forever.
4. Femdom Wife Zoe: A bit generic, but reliable for what it is. Lots of options, and the grinding adds to the game more than it detracts.
3. Nope Nope Nurses: I haven't played all of the installments of this series yet, and frankly it barely qualifies as femdom. But at least it held my attention, which is more than I can say for most of its competition.
2. Villainess Quest: Rare Japanese Femdom W.
1. Boring Days: Still getting updates, which is a pleasant surprise all things considered.

The year seemed to start promising, but it turned out to be pretty lacklustre indeed.

Well, after I have played, here are some feedbacks:

Overall, it is a good, solid Visual Novel with a great thematic. The plot is very interesting, your 3D renders are great and the girls are fantastic. The MC could be a little more masochistic in my opinion, being more accepting to big girls being rough on him. That's an opportunity if you'd like to make the game less linear than it currently is, as it would be just about player choices leading to different dialogs, and it gives more diversity to your game.

Diversity is important, think about the people that will play your game. Some of them enjoys the current plot, where the MC becomes unconfortable when he is harassed or "womanhandled" by strong girls. Other femdom fans would think "oh please, that's exactly what I want this girl to do to me", and if there were a in-game choice, they would pick something like "please mistress go harder" instead of "oh no, that's too much for me!" (or even a bratty-way like "I didn't feel your cute little slap in my ass, are your muscles fake or do you have pity to treat me like a whore?" - and we all know what happens after that).

Some points of improvement are:

1) It's been a while that your game doesn't receive an update (the last one was 7 months ago), and that's a yellowish-green flag imo. That's not a huge problem, as there are great games that receives a few updates, but beware to not fall in the likes of Dekarous and Bo-Wei/Koda.

I mean, it's quite sad what's currently happening in Domina, but long-time delays isn't something new when it comes to Dekarous, so... we can easily say that the signals were all there, and you wouldn't like people to begin to see you in the very same way.

Currently you're far away from being like that, but nevertheless, I think it's something that's worth to point out. Long-time waits leads to big expectations, and broken expectations makes people angry. As long as you fulfill their expectations, you wouldn't have great problems with a less-than-1-year delay, as a lot of amazing games has a 6-months period between releases. That's fine, but it's worth to give some attention to it ("consistency" is the keyword here).

2) There are issues concerning the sound. It seems that your game does not properly separates music, sound and voices. Most of the time, the only way to remove voices was by setting the "Music Volume" to mute.

That's really bad for people experience, and you should correct it for your next release. Voices are voices, sound effects are sound effects and musics are musics, and the Properties' volume bars should be matched to each kind of sound.

I want to thank you for pointing out that there were sound issues. I did find and correct the problem. The coding for my game was originally setup by someone who offered to do it for free. He did a much better job than I could have when I started, though not perfect of course. Then he disappeared completely, and from that point I had to teach myself to code it. The problem was that he registered the additional sound effects channels to the "sound" mixer, which doesn't actually exist. The actual mixer name is "sfx". Easy fix after a little research. Testing voices however: they are properly registered to "voice", and in my testing, turning the voice volume to zero eliminates voices completely.

Floor 7 was already out in December 2022 I think (at least that's when I remember playing it myself), and floor 9 I don't know about, but isn't it a standalone just like floor 8 or the Swan/Crow side game? Sure you can include it if it came out this year, but I think it should be considered a separate game from ToT...

I can't name a game that impressed me narrative wise

Graphics wise, most games are fine, but nothing consistently amazing

innovation, probably Reina's Desire for using AI graphics, which although not perfect, is a great way for even people who lack any artistic skill to make sex games with graphics

So I'd say

No other Femdom games made my list of top games, but there are some others with some promise for the future

This was tough, while no new games really impressed me this year, there were several sizeable updates to games that I follow that were very enjoyable.

5th: Karlsson's Gambit - As already mentioned, it has a great narrative and some great content overall. Always looking forward to updates.
4th: The Shadow Over Blackmore - This is easily my favorite Darktoz game, and it's not even finished yet; I love the variety of mistresses and fetishes while still being fairly hardcore.
3rd: The Queendom of Lithzena - RPGmaker games, despite the negative view others have of them, have always been a favorite of mine, and painkillerpk hit it out of the park, from the ambience to the art (which improved over time).
2nd: Escape from Misantria - Ariestra nailed this one, I've always been a fan of femdom content where MC's find themselves in hopeless situations, and this game just exudes that atmosphere, literally being stuck on an island full of dominant women.
1st: The Void of Deviance - I remember picking up this game when it first released, playing the brief demo, and then I put a bookmark on it and left it alone for months (a year or more?); I came back to it due to an afterthought, and it blew my mind. I've always had a soft spot for HS2 art; combine that with some pretty extreme scenes and some great ambience, and Sylventhia really made a game I keep coming back to.

Honorable Mentions
*Domination Desire: Banished - I love how "big" the world in this game feels, another great use of RPGmaker.
*Kidnapped by the Mistress - As mentioned, I enjoy playing games where the sub finds themselves in hopeless situations; that was done well here.
*Bindr: Kink Dating - While not exclusively a femdom game, the femdom scenes in it were great. I also really like that potential that this game has. I've been particularly interested in the use of AI voice acting and how it has evolved, something the game highlighted for me. Voices to the text really amplifies the experience when done well.
*Femdom University Zero - I was thrilled to discover this. Having played the original, I had enjoyed it, but found it somewhat tedious to play due to player movement and other related mechanics; this felt like an upgraded version to an already great game. Combine that with frequent updates, it nearly made top 5.
*Moving Down - Great game, loved the hardcore content that appears near the end.
*Surrendering to my Crush - I classic game depicting a sub's descent into depravity, always a win in my book. Frequent updates add to my high opinion of the game.

I find that very few of my smut games particularly stand out, and mostly I just have a good time with them, then when I look back afterwards it's just, yeah, I did play that too. Last year I never got around to posting a list, this time I told myself I wouldn't overthink it and just pick some set of five that I liked.

This probably goes without saying but I'm not even going to pretend these are the top games by any kind of objective criteria, this is all about which games pushed my buttons and I've had a good time with. The common theme among most of these is they are some kind of an rpg, where you can get immersed in the gameplay, and getting dominated by the female adversaries ties into those mechanics. So rather than reading about things happening to a character, there's more of a feeling of you experiencing it.

Honourable mention: Crossdressing in Camelot

This was supposed to be my #5 before I remembered TeiTei, and I figured I may as well put it in here. It's an RPG with weird perverted themes first, but does have multiple characters with solid femdom content too. Also a central feminisation theme so YMMV, personally I'm ambivalent about that as long as the rest of the game is good.

(Also as a heads up for anyone thinking of trying it, dungeon boss fights are special and losing there still completes the dungeon but with different scenes and story implications. Winning shouldn't be difficult if you're minmaxing, but if you just happened to start tripping over your own shoelaces at the end of the second dungeon, that would be so very unfortunate.)

5. Katalist

My pick for the best Tower of Trample clone. Does that getting dominated in battle really well. Does require you to put up with a lot of amateur rpg maker game bullshit so not an unreserved recommendation for everyone.

4. TeiTei ~Tales of Tei~

Similar to the above, this is a Japanese release where the main content is going up against a few succubus antagonists. This is technically a 2020 game, but a fan translation coming out this January counts as an update in my book.

3. Evil Stepmommy

From the other end of the spectrum, this is a Milovana webtease CYOA with a paper-thin game on top of delivering fap material on your screen with an equally thin story. It isn't deep, but it's extremely good at what it has set out to do. Very quick to play through if you just want to check it out, but with a healty humber of branching paths for replay value.

2. Trials of the Succubi

Another Milovana CYOA, everything above applies here too except for the bit about being really short. I kinda like Evil Stepmommy a little better, but this one's great too and I feel I have to put it over for its ridiculous amount of content.

1. Monster Girl Dreams

Much like your typical RPG maker game in concept, except actually built on Renpy. Extremely my jam with heavy focus on different flavours of mind control, including the best hypnosis scenes in any smut game.
