I didn't like Seeds of Chaos much. The world building took too much from the A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones book and didn't work for a world where political life depends on homage and loyalty. The story works I guess, but that relied on the twins' role as OP nepo babies. Andras is kinda of the Man with a Thousand Faces trope for an antagonist, going from Kapo to Casanova when the story needs it. He sorta looks like Nigel Farage too when he laughs.

Just feels kinda unbalanced in the way grimdark stories usually are. It's like the mirror image of those high fantasy happy JRPGs for teens.
Hmm, perhaps I gave it too much of a gleaming endorsement, (truth is I never cared about Andras and literally avoided all of his avoidable content - my Rowan AND Alexia are always both Jezera's bitches) as I will agree that even from the little Andras content I have seen he does seem to conform to the trope you linked.

I will say however that Jezera has a far more consistent personality throughout, that the overall writing is pretty high quality for a porn game (I even liked some of the Alexia heavy-on-symbolism corruption dreams with the dark tree - if I have to say something bad about the writing I will say that at times it is oversaturated with porn scenes in an unrealistic way, which is a pretty common occurrence anyways given the website we're on, and maybe that it copies the Forgotten Realms a tad too much in parts, with it having Drow that are a matriarchy, live underground and have "dryders", eg Lolth's eldritch spider monstrosities, which is certainly uncreative of them. What they did with the goblins, by contrast, with their ancient tree cities with carved wooden walls and translucent silk clothing, making them more like Elder Scrolls Bosmer, was far more unique and interesting) and, as I already said, that there are several characters with very hot and well-written femdom scenes. That includes Jezera, X'zaratl, more recently even Shaya and, my favourite, Cliohna, probably because dommes whose main fetish is mind control are very rare in porn games. (Shadow over Meridia does this pretty well in Lezdom format out of the newer games I tried by the way - it uses AI art and doesn't really have CGs, but the writing is quite good and it's a mind control focused game)

So yeah, all things considered I still think Seeds of Chaos is a good game and I do not believe it falls into too many dark fantasy tropes, (rather I'd say, for example, the Baldur's Gate 3 has worse writing than it when it comes to evil characters, making them very often act nonsensically evil just for "being evil's" sake, whereas SoC has more nuanced lore on some of the "evil alignment races" it tackled, like goblins and to a lesser extent even its demons, like the 2 twins, and orcs) but it does have its drawbacks and it's understandable if you don't personally like it of course. Hell, you are probably better off than us suckers who like it, as the main plot has advanced by, like, a quest per year since 2020, so they might be aiming for a complete game by the turn of the century!

There still isn't any content past the fall of Rastedel, nor a completed goblin path to get there, (only the orc one, which was already implemented when I first played the game 3 years ago) whereas a lot more CGs or side romances with a billion characters have been added... (very few of them femdom and therefore irrelevant from my perspective) It feels like it's one of those games that try to please too many people with too widely different fetishes, and that has become a bit fan-servicy and lost its original vision unfortunately. (not necessarily lost it, but at least that they expanded the scope of the game so much it has become unmanageable by the devs) At least that's my 2 cents on its development direction - I hope I'm wrong.

I tried "Prison 2" - but I still don't like RPGM as an engine - there are too many actions.

"Under the Witch" is a great game, but I won't say it's Japanese style. This is good 3D graphics, animations, etc. I'm looking forward to its continuation, it seems to be in development, maybe it will come out someday))

"Town of Femdom" is also a good game, but a lot of repetitive actions and abandoned. BUT overall it was interesting)

With my question I wanted to find something in the genres of NTR, CHEATING, CUCKOLD and FEMDOM...

As you can see, I tried many games)) that’s why in the original question I cited “A Wife’s Phone” and “Boring Days”, and I remembered another one - “Bull Bunny Cuck”
Have you tried https://f95zone.to/threads/sodora-city-v1-0-0-tinboy.178467/ It's mostly cucking/ntr and chastity. It's only version 1.0 right now, but it has allot of content despite being the first version of the game. And the dev is also releasing a new update apparently at the end of this month

What's the closing date for the poll?
I asked the same thing last week and Mister_M said back then that the deadline is Christmas, so assuming nothing has changed, (and I don't think it has) you've still got about half a month to vote, so you can take your time thinking about it/trying more games!

Has anyone played the new update for SoB? I remember last years update was quite lackluster.
Yup. I found it absolutely excellent. But I loved the last one too so, YMMV. Of course I wish it was bigger, but with renders of that quality +animations and all of it being done by one guy, it's going to take long.

LAKueiJin is indeed correct. I've added some time ago info about the deadline to the post about voting. I'll write a reminder in 4 days too btw.

I tried it for a little while but got bored and didn’t get far. TBH I find most of the women in this game kinda ugly and have no interest at all in the story or silly occult nonsense. This is disappointing because Darktoz has always been one of my favorite devs but his latest stuff just doesn’t work for me. SoB has become a bore and the latest version of Mantis won’t even run on my PC :(

Is there an update for Femdom City M.A.N.T.I.S. ??
I think I saw a version [v0.9.2] lying around somewhere and I haven't downloaded it

Not that I'm aware of. AFAIK, Darktoz has been only working on the Shadow over Blackmore since releasing MANTIS 0.8.1, but it seems he's switching back to MANTIS again.

I checked quickly Become French, a new game tagged femdom, and it's a drag. It's sandbox in an apartement without a map and journal, so a lot of clicking, most of which lands us in empty places. There are 3 women here, but currently the game forces us on one of them (least attractive imo), and there's an unavoidable scene when she gives MC a BJ. Maybe there's some femdom inside, but def not much. So that, and all the other problems with the game (to which poor English contribute) made me drop it.

----------------------

And I think I will share this - possibly sad - info for those, who don't follow the discord of the dev of Reina's Desire: while we obv don't know where the dev is from, it was mentioned few times they're from some rather dangerous, poorer country with some heavier limits to the citizen's freedom. The dev was very active on discord and I talked with them few times (provided some proofreading and some ideas for the scenes, etc.), but they disappeared some 2 weeks ago, and there's a suspicion smth bad could happen. Fingers crossed everything's ok.

Mister_M, Frosty, thanks for the recommendations! I'll check them out for sure.

LAKueiJin, I have to be honest, those names are so similar that it's always going to be Lithuania in my head, I can't help it haha. But I agree, fun game for sure and the dev works very hard on it so I give them props

Does anybody have anything with a domme protagonist to recommend? I already know Mistress vs Slave, Nex(e)us Institute, A drow's life and Healslut, that I like, Rise of the White Flower, that isn't my thing, and Domination Quest, that I hate.

Nah, you endorse what you wanna endorse, it wasn't too gleaming, I just kinda disagreed. I really don't think it's a bad game either, but I think it's a bit overrated. But with my example about grimdark worldbuilding I really meant how feudal vassalage is written in the universe. It's of course the traditional choice in fantasy, but it limits how much macchiavellian backstabbing you can get in edgy grimdark stories. Anyway it's a big complaint for me how vassalage is shown in fiction, most people have a poor high school understanding of it, like, many Americans seriously still think the jus primae noctis was a thing. I better save the rest for messages.

And I guess in general I've been a bit grumpy and picky about standard fantasy tropes by writers who aren't Tolkien lately.

Agree that Jezebel is neither a man or with a thousand faces. :p And the game does aim at many different fetishes AND it has an unusual gameplay mechanic, so that's going to be a challenge for the devs.

I think Inheritance if you'll choose female MC. There was a Femdom Hotel (or similar title) game, but it's abandonded and it was pretty buggy afaik. Secondary protagonist in Karlsson's Gambit, there's also a secondary protag on one of the floors of Tower of Trample. I think you can play in Missy on a dom route too.

Besides what Mister_M said, Shadow over Meridia also has a domme protagonist, although she is not a very harsh domme and the game is lezdom-only. (and AI art, so it's not for everyone even though I really like it :))

As for most Americans not understanding how feudal vassalage actually worked, meh, I guess add that to the garagantuan pile of historical facts they (and by extension most fantasy universes) get wrong! (alongside all fantasy towns having stupidly-broad streets, the architecture being bleak and colourless af when it should be anything but, women always wielding bows, when in actuality bows, especially longbows, require the most muscle mass and stregth to use properly and therefore real historical female warriors were least likely to be archers and more likely to wield crossbows or even two-handed swords etc)

I think I just got used to fantasy universes missing a lot of the nuance of how actual historical societies worked, (it's also rare that you even see mercantilistic city-states run by plutarchic "Signorias" like Genoa, Florence, Venice etc, or other republics/trading city-states like Novgorod or north German cities in the Hanseatic league - it's almost always monarchies, and never complicated semi-elective monarchies with convoluted politics like what the Holy Roman Empire had, but always just boring agnatic primogeniture ones where power is so centralised in the hands of the king they look more like 18th century absolute monarchies than any medieval state...), so that's not a criticism that's often at the back of my mind.

Also fun that you mention "Jus Prime Noctis" in particular as a myth, as I think I remember reading in Engels's "Origins of the family, Private Property and the State" that he believed the custom was practiced in Aragon (Catholic kingdom in northern Spain that included the Basque country) and in a couple other places with Celtic heritage. I'm not sure whether Engels' claim was based on bogus sources, (he was writing in the 19th century after all, and I think he gave some contemporary German historian as his source for that claim, so he might've just been wrong) or whether he was right but this practice (of the liege lord sleeping with the wife of any of his vassal peasants before they did) was only a localized phenomenon in some regions before the 1500s. (like Aragon) This I genuinely don't know, but if you want I'll search for, give you the specific quote by Engels, and you can tell me whether he was full of bullshit on this one or not! (I'm not one of those doctrinary marxists or anything - even though I agree with the overall ideology and I want a more democratic, classless and stateless society, I recognise Marx and Engels were obviously wrong on some things, such as Marx's horrendous analysis and misunderstanding of Qing dynasty China to give one specific example)

Tbf I'm not that much of a medievalist myself (in fact I sorta disllike the middle ages in Europe as a time of religious dogmatism, sectarianism, censorship, infighting, horrible sanitation and hygiene standards - just read about the "Erfurt Latrinensturz" if you haven't yet, as it's honestly hillarious -, and in general very little scientific and artistic progress. I guess you'd probably expect this from an atheistic communist like myself, but yeah, I pretty much prefer any historical setting, from ancient times to the European renaissance or Enlightenment, over the middle ages) and I would like it if fantasy universes took more creative license and depicted more unique societies that do not necessarily copy the mold of European feudalism. I'd like it if more fantasy books/series/RPGs or what have you took more inspiration from historical systems other than feudalism, such as Imperial China's, Golden Age Islam with its iqta system, (which wasn't inheritance-based nor included serfdom) or even maybe from how Mesoamerican or South East Asian buddhist empires (like the Khmer or Majapahit) worked.

Alas, as you pointed out, many fantasy games and YA novels (don't get me started on YA novels as I hate them and their simplistic-ass cookie cutter liberal plots with a passion ) don't even get feudalism right, or ever really delve into complex medieval politics like those of Holy Rome, the Papacy or Italian merchant republics, so I'll probably have to wait a few centuries for non-European based fantasy... This compounds though into why my favourite fantasy universe ever is to this day The Elder Scrolls, as its metaphysics and creation myth are part-inspired by Sumerian ones, the Khajiiti cat people get a lot of Indian, Turkish and South-East Asian influence, Redguards get middle eastern, Cyrodiils/Imperials obviously Roman, Reachmen/Forsworn get a combination of native American and mainly Celtic inspiration, and many of the races are such unique blends of both in-game ideas and historical societies they just come off as alien, but in a culturally cohesive way that makes sense! (like the Dunmer, Bosmer, Argonians etc) I really hope Bethesda don't fuck up TES: VI, as they decided to set it mainly in the most boring province of Tamriel (High Rock), and their latest games like Fallout 4 and Starfield don't exactly boost my confidence in their current writing skills or anything...

Anyway, have a great weekend and feel free to DM me if you want to exchange more ideas about fantasy, vassalage, history or whatever, as I just realized I ranted for over 90% of this message on topics unrelated to femdom, so I'll stop here! ;) Nice to hear from you again Jaike!
