Nah, the future is bright (and shiny)
TBH I haven't played your game beyond 1st update

When the new one will come out I'll get back to it! And thanks for being one of the few, who keeps the femdom games flame burning!
is there a really strong femdom content in NIF ? I tried this game last year and i felt there is a lack of that. Maybe i should had go further in the game tho
Depends on your definition of strong, but I'd say there's a very good amount of femdom with both lighter and harder versions (Kim being the hardest femdom in the game, but Deb has some physical stuff, Emma more humiliations, etc.). However the game is a slow burn, 1st chapter has just a small taste of femdom(ish) content, so if you're not into longer stories that don't treat porn as their only raison d'etre then you may not enjoy it.
I wish I had your willpower but I will enjoy it again when the next update releases.
While I agree it will be a poor year for FD games it has been a good week with Karlsons Gambit, NIF and Boring Days all getting an update (admittedly small updates for each of them). Three of the heaviest FD hitters.
There are also a few others recently updated that I fancy trying out but if experience tells me anything it is there is unlikely to be too much FD
BD is getting/got a small technical update recently, right? I still haven't played last 2 updates, I'm waiting until I have a substantial chunk of content to play, cause the updates usually end before I can even get into the mood.
KG's update is small? I had an impression it's the full next chapter, just requiring more polish before the 'final version' will be splashed on it. That's a bummer. I still plan to replay the full game before playing the new chapter anyway to have my saves in order and revisit the story, so I'll try to join new update to that replay.
From the newer ones, In Control looks like it may be interesting if the dev won't focus only on feminisation/sissification on a femdom route (by that I don't mean these kinks are bad, but they will heavily limit the audience imo), and I'll probs check tomorrow how Broken Sky develops.
