You customize it however you like so it can be femdom or maledom or whatever you want pretty much.

I have a question, mostly for those people who enjoy playing through Ren'py femdom visual novels. Do you guys think sound effects (not music) are a good addition or are they are too distracting and startle you? I've personally always mute them and only leave music on.

I like sound effects. Not too much of them, and not too loud, but the sound of spanking, whipping, sound of a car engine, sound of a background rain for better weather immersion, etc. I find that all pretty cool if used when it's needed. If it's only generic music playing it's pretty boring sonically for me, very bland, and I see the whole game as somewhat unpolished. So yeah, I like sound effects personally.

I usually mute everything, but when I do play with sound I keep them on. Some games do them well, other's not. Greatest sinners are those who still have some effects playing even when you muted everything. That's more common on RPGM-games for some reason though (looking at you escape from misantria).
I mute everything, even the best in game music gets old after a while.

I really like sound effects, such as wet/squelching during sex/HJ/BJ, chains, latex rubbing, high heels coming closer; I find it really helps with the ambience.

There's a new game tagged femdom: The Witching Hour with female MC. If you're thinking that it either has a lezdom route with MC being a sub or dom, or a route where MC doms guys then you're wrong, cause it's neither. It's one of these games where female MC sucks all dicks and doesn't do much more than than, just this time she does it in a world parodying Wonder Woman, Harry Potter, Witcher and probs more. Also, the choices are like this: "Do you want to give him a BJ this morning?" My answer: "No", MC gives him a BJ next morning... So yeah, not recommended.

Well it depends on the music and the setting if school seeting games i leave it on but trash music off i mostly prefer no music if not school femdom.
As for sounds depends on the situation whipping spanking gagging from a dildo in mouth farting etc must have sounds.
Some scenes need effects and can't be muted.
But having it no music throught people will def complain complain but i only like sounds on certain scenes eg opening the door in waifu academy pissing etc.

Usually in this sort of game, the male MC just fights some sort of monster girl, succubus, or whatever, who then may rape him. But that often just leads to some sort of game over. I'm yet to see a game with an overall dynamic corruption progression for a male MC.
