Quick question for you all.
I had a small (about 10 hours over the weekend) attempt at making my own Femdom 'universe/style' renpy game to give something back to the community here, especially this thread and those who are hard at work letting us all know about each and every game update etc.
To be honest I was gettting a little tired of the low effort tripe these days and I wanted to see if I could do any better rather than moaning about it, its only five minutes long and I didnt bother changing the menu or doing splash screen etc, just did some story/art to see if I could do it, seems easy enough, all I did was download renpy, a free paint art program and boom one weekend of fun later and I had made something I liked.
All it involves is you waking up in a dungeon, you have some interesting visitors, chat for a bit, then turn around and see your cell, click on the monitor and meet the AI 'Warden' for a short conversation then its over, like I said its five minutes long.
Tools - Paint.net, renpy, free AI filter website, free latex pics nicked off the internet.
My question is, where would I post the file? Is there a free website I could chuck it up on to let you view it and see what you think of my 'attempt'?

, where you can showcase your projects and receive support?"I'm not him, but one reason I personally like it is the juxtaposition. The fact that they're smaller than you, & yet are still able to overpower you, whether physically or otherwise, can be pretty hot imo.
Kinda like being dommed by a girl that's like 5' as opposed to one that's taller than you/your height. They're both hot, but they'd bring about different feelings while it's happening

guys me and my friend been working we trying to make a femdom game using RPG Maker VX Ace as you can see my friend designed this character and she's going to make all the scenes and we already have an idea about the game plot and characters our only issue is we don't have experience coding so i will have to learn how to use RPG Maker VX if anyone is interested in helping or have any suggestions please leave a replay

Can't you just upload it as a zip to a google drive, pixeldrain or whatever fee hosting site you want and post the link for people to download? Or am I misunderstanding the question? I think you could also post it to Itch.io for that matter, I believe it has option to play renpy games in the browser.

My suggestion: don't use RPG Maker. Why do people use it at all now? It's completely outdated.

it's simple and it works for the game we want to create and it still used a lot on this site and the community knows how to handle it
What exactly do you mean by outdated? What's the better alternative that has obsoleted it?

And why do you think they make remakes of RPG Maker games with Ren'py?
RPG Maker games simply steal the player's time.
I absolutely do not understand why to make games on RPG Maker at all starting in 2022 at least.
I like games made in rpg maker more than ren'py. For me, rpg maker is better to play, and I have the impression that more things are included in them

Most games are ported to renpy cuz they actually don't need a good battle system or cool minigames. You are getting confused. No one here thinks games like Tower of Trample or Katalist can be ported nicely to renpy. The game we are talking about, given the idea, is similar to ToT. Renpy are visual novels, where the lore is the most important thing in here. You can add a battle system, but it is certainly worse than anything rpgmaker can offer. Some games are being ported as you said because there is no battle with animations, or they don't even care if there is fights.

Not to say that limitations aside, there are plenty of tutorials to learn how to do the game you want to do, with basically no coding experience. We must remember that most projects are done with a team of a single person or just a few as a part time job, due to the fact that it takes a lot of time and not everyone can afford a good computer to create good renders, learning 3d animations and then using unity or unreal to make a good game.

I mean, if the Battle system is similar to tot or so where according to what you do you get a nice scene, then I guess yeah. The most important thing here is the art, as long as it's good, i don't really care about the system.
