This may be an off topic question but was the word ”succubus” in common usage before the South Park episode with Chef? I don’t recall seeing it much before then and now it shows up everywhere LoL

I don't know when the episode aired for the first time, cause I never watched South Park, but I hear the word "succubus" used in popculture since late 90s I guess? Early 2000s maybe. Could be earlier, but I could've not be paying attention at the time. I def remember seeing succubi in 2002 Disciples II game and I know it was pretty normal for me so I must've heard about them earlier*. But I was watching horror movies since I was 9-10 yrs old so maybe it's there where I got my knowledge from. Could be also from school, as "succubus" as a relious concept/creature is from around 2400 BC.

*Edit: Diablo game had them in 1996 too, it was very popular game among my friends and schoolmates (I wasn't a fan myself).

It is common in classical catholic books about temptation demon: succubus are female stealing man's desire, and incubus are the male version to impregnate woman. I had no clue South Park had any relation with it.

The modern incarnation of Succubus are a fusing of the Catholic Succubus and the Jewish Lilim, while both are succubus they have completely different traits that have been merged to create what's used today.

In my opinion: I think you are allowed to make somekind of "advertisement" for your project here. Because this here is a "general discussion thread".
But dont do this in "On-Topic Threads" please. (If you were planning on doing that).

Discussion must be limited to the game/comic/asset/author listed on the OP. You may discuss other content from the same developer, but please do not discuss content from other developers.

It's fine to name drop and even give a summery of games here if there is femdom but please keep general discussions about games in that games thread please and thanks.

This thread, as the title states, is users posting about femdom games that they find. Sometimes people will state a game has little to no femdom even though it has that tag so there is a some discussion here ig, but not excessive. Initially this thread was to created to archive all the femdom games on this site, but like most lists here, the lists suffers from a lack of maintenance and/or optimization. This list does get to most updates compared to all the other lists that I'm on however.

It would be nice to have some way for the list to indicate the prevalence femdom holds in each game. Like 5/5, 10/10, A, or SSS = game is predominantly femdom
