But then I'd have to know about every update of every game and chances are I'll miss smth, also I have some games that are on the list on ignore; plus changing dates everytime smth new appears means quite a lot of additional editing.
Oh, I think we talked past each other. I meant that for each entry in the list you'd add the date when you last edited that entry, not when an update for a game was released.

E.g. You updated "Karlsson's Gambit" a week ago -> Thus the date would say "2022-10-03".
Now if you update that entry tomorrow it would change that date to "2022-10-11".

Sorry for not being clear.
P.S. I just realized that wouldn't solve the issue of advertising which games are new entries to the list. :/

He wanted me to continue his glorious work, which he also said publicly in the previous Finder thread, so I hope he won't mind any changes I did to it.
Well making that sort of plan and publicly stating it in such a manner makes it sound like he knew his time was short, so to speak

I think it was more like in "if smth ever happen to me" like an accident or smth, especially since he said that as an answer to someone asking about the Finder (don't remember the exact context atm), but who knows. In any case I really hope he just decided to stop writing here for whatever reason and he's ok.

Update:
- all games with the title starting with a letter 'b' are updated (though if someone has some inside intel about Bound by Lust I'd appreciate that [though maybe I'll play this game during the weekend again]);
- all games with the title starting with a letter 'c' are updated.

I don't like that it's sorted alphabetically. If something new gets added I'm not gonna scroll through and recheck each line individually every time. Much better to sort it chronologically, putting new entries at the bottom.
I can leave, let's say, 3 newest additions groups above the table:

NEWEST ADDITIONS:
10.10.22: game 1, game 2
24.10.22: game 3, game 4
31.10.22: game 666
Maybe that could work?

And some others wanted alphabetical order earlier, which prompted me (with big help from Sunshaded) to modify the Finder. But I can just start adding new additions at the end again disregarding the alphabetical order. I would like to hear what others who use the Finder think about it though. I don't mind either option.

Chronological always made sense to me, and newest additions set out specifically. I suppose after they're some 6 months or so old they can then be placed in broader alphabetically categorized groups. But the more useful option would always have been to roughly group them by content and age. That's a lot harder to do though and I wouldn't ask for that.

I'd think newest additions for a year, and then everything else gets dumped into 5 year blocks, and you can alphabetize them there if you really wanted but I don't see why that would matter much. So say 2011-2015, 2016-2020, 2021+, current year 2022, which would get added to 2021+ after the year ended etc. You'd decide if it was for completed games, still updating games, etc. I always think it's better to try and do setoffs instead of a huge giant list, even if it's a minimal setoff. But it's always going to take work so I'd never suggest it, only giving my thoughts since it was asked.
Makes sense. I also think the list is getting too big to look good. Grouping games chronologically like that (I'd choose the starting date for ongoing games) could be a good idea. In any case, I will start making bigger changes only after I'll update all the descriptions, cause I don't want to start too many things at once, but it's definitely one of the better ideas for those who want to know what's the newest addition.

My two cents, not even sure of it could be done, but lets say you update the list once per week, during that week, the new entries, games, or games updated, could be on the bottom of the list, this way it could be more easy for everyone, to spot what are the new games, entries and updates, then when you do the update on the next week, those entries, games get sent to the alphabetical order, then they are replaced at the bottom of the list by the new entries, games, games updated...

It's possible, but I think it's quite similar to my proposition and at the same time requires more work. Also I don't think I'll be updating the list that regularly (I can have some problems regarding that during summer period, but at that point there shouldn't be much to work on). And to be perfectly honest there's no way I'll be changing info with every update of every game as I simply don't play them all, have some of them on ignore and collecting info from the thread and adding it to the Finder every week is more work than I'm paid for :p

First and last pics are great
I try to make them somewhat varied, though I obviously choose pics based on my personal tastes.

Have some more :):

Bound by Lust has my route and I'm quite close to the dev. I would hold off on playing it until next update. I know it was just updated so it will be a few months, but it will be better overall for you. 1) even while skipping stuff I read, for me to play a full game took around 10 hours and 2) If you wait until next update, its a Natalie update, so the femdom route specifically is going to get extended

Edit:

I would instead have a section above the current list, listed as "new to list" and it would be games that would be advertised there for 1 week before moved properly onto the list. Updates can and should just be surveyed by the users themselves, we are adults here I think. It doesn't need to be overly user friendly, but drawing attention to new projects/potentials is worth doing. You might consider keeping them seperated for a month even.

Lets be honest, all the hardcore fans are going to eventually work down the list anyway when they get the urge to play something, they will follow the ones they really want to keep with. I think its more than enough we have a comprehensive list that tells us what games are even worth the time and effort to play vs "I JUST SPENT 10 FUCKING HOURS FOR A FOOTJOB?!" reaction....that might be personal bias though.

That's my idea too. Have smth above the Finder with mentions of the newest titles (kept even longer than a week, with dates), and if someone wants to check their description they can use ctrl+f or simply find it with ease as the Finder is now in alphabetical order.

Will wait then. Natalie is the sister that dommes MC, right? She's obviously my fav character from the game, she started to humiliate the MC quite nicely in latest updates. Hopefully the succubus will have more scenes too. Wouldn't mind Natalie humiliating MC more publicly as the time goes too btw.

If it's not too much work I think it makes sense to have the new stuff listed chronologically, from newest to oldest, but then after a couple weeks move them over to alphabetical.

Yeah. I think that's the best way to do it, actually I would consider them "provisional games" if they are too new. Basically its too new to know if the dev is gonna stick with it/run/change their mind if its gonna keep to themes, or just outright breaks promises.

Yeah, definitely wait until next update, Anath (who is actually one of my favorite, she is getting better and better) will gain more dominance next update too. Granted, by her nature, Anath changes moods based on the situation (she has to because of how the game events work and she's central to everything) but she will be getting some more semi-permanent/repeatable domme scenes or so I hope.

I'm thinking about having above the finder list of newest games (titles only, full descriptions in the Finder) for approx. 3-4 weeks. I think it's the least taxing and still easy to follow option. Will try doing this tomorrow with Your Place and Spades.

I think I'll add them to the Finder already, as I probably forget about them and delete from the newest games section without adding them to the list. I can always delete them later as I did with Heavy Five and New Collar City (though this game has my favorite LI based on her looks).

Didn't the original list also have a spreadsheet of the games? That way everyone can sort them the way they want. Though I have no idea how much work it is to make and update it.

This list is the exact copy (albeit in alphabetical order and with few new additions) of the previous Finder, hence 'continuation'. I don't think adding an option for everyone to sort the table depending on their wishes is possible on F95.

I think they mean as an attachment file. Not sorting on the F95 post.
