Did you all play the new update of TSoB? Am I the only one who's somewhat disappointed? TBH atm I'd change my top 5 with TSoB without on it

I thought it was good, but didn't do enough considering that apparently there isn't going to be another update for a while. The new update was primarily dedicated to introducing new characters and developing the lore/stakes, which is fine in the context of a bigger game. Trouble is, we still need to be sold on that bigger game.

There are only a couple characters that I like, and I don't think any of them got any shine this update. I also liked some of the new characters- the Arabic mom and daughter you meet outside the tower both look promising- but they didn't get any scenes either afaik. I'm worried that DarkToz has bit off more than he can chew, as this is clearly his most ambitious project yet.

Maybe he'd benefit from cutting corners on the backgrounds for sex scenes? Having a fully rendered bathroom is cool, but kinda unnecessary. I still liked the update though.

I was really looking forwads to these 2 black girls in the bar, but alas. And since I dislike Alice I said no to her daughter too, also cause I was irritated the black girls left. A lot of stuff in this update involved pleasuring MC; Mathilda, Alice (checked on the separate save, her cum licking moment was somewhat nice, even tho I'm not into cum play), 2 kitties, seemed even the vampiress with her mindless slave-girl wanted to do smth like that (said no to them, cause I wasn't interested in this kind of scene). Boot licking was ok, but kinda meh to me. I'm also not a big fan of the empty dialogue choices during the scenes tbh. Also, since various actions cost MC the essence (or however it is called) I'm now more wary in choosing what I'm doing and I try to limit myself to just the most attractive (to me) women. Which was very easy in this update as my favs or the ones that were introduced and I liked them were unavaiable.

You can have a futascene with one of the black girls.
One point where my opinion is the same like your, is the dialogue choices during the scenes.
But about the essence, you could reconsider your selflimitation to it. For the moment it looks like, that you are getting it back after sleeping (that might change in the future or maybe you will use more of it), but for now, there is literaly no way to use it all.

Overall i like the game so far. It is getting closer to my top 5. Sure there are some girls that i like (like Mika, Alice and the egyptian priestess), some that i dont and the same goes for scenes. The renderquality has greatly improved for darktoz and what looks like even more gamemechanic, i still can see that this will be getting into my top5.
It will depend on how big he is planning to make this game. Like some already mentioned, the charakterdevelopment have aloot of space to improve.

Yeah, but imo the scenes were tad too similar in theme and the characters - apart from their looks - are also rather similar in terms of their character (maybe minus Vivienne and to a lesser extent Mathilda). It could be more varied update imo. But yes, the quality is top notch, I'll def play again after bugfix.

Edit: WTAF. Firstly, it won't let me buy it. Also do you know how hard it is to find on mangagamer? It doesn't come up in the search function, I had to use the link through VNDB to get to it. I really cut back on my purchases on mangagamer the past two years because they seem to hide and don't advertise their femdom games, but this is a little over the top even for them. Also I have bought so many novels from them, why the hell is it rejecting this purchase specifically? Piracy is starting to make more of a realistic approach to getting games it seems. Its not that I don't want to pay or can't afford it, I just can't seem to buy the damn thing. I emailed them. Ha! I knew that had to be part of it, I was kinda hoping for a scene with them too. The scene with the other two is OK but for me smoking is a real turn off so I almost skipped it. I'm liking this new game but I still prefer Femdom City, maybe just because it's had more time to develop.

Try Nothing is Forever, but remember it's a slow burn and there's a lot of dialogues and story. If you want to know the femdom characters are Deb, Emma and Kim. There's some femdom with others too, but these are the main ones.

Also, there's some more natural, realistic femdom approach in Neuvau (btw, what happened to Asmodeus_, are you still here?) and Summer Scent.

Mister_M I've only added games that updated in 2022 as that's what made sense to me if we plan on doing this yearly.

1. Under the Witch
With the admittedly horrible writing as its only weakness, a quality 3D game that somehow still manages to update with decent frequency absolutely deserves the top spot. Numeric's work ethic is a breath of fresh air.

2. Gladia
The best writing out of any porn game I have ever played, femdom or not, and by a wide margin at that. The only reason why I'm not giving Gladia the 1st place is the lack of that extremely important piss scene.
If next year the game gets such essential feature while adding more overall content I don't see a universe where I don't put it at the top of the list. #MaeveBestGirl

3. Tower of Trample
Easily the most frustratting femdom game to be a fan of, but also the one that really needs no introduction, so I'll limit myself in saying that Lady Butterfly was the best bit of content the already solid game ever got.

4. Karlsson's Gambit
With very much a quantity over quality approach to releases, half of KG's scenes end up feeling very fan-servicy and a bit hollow. That aside though amazing overall story, interesting characters, and a shitload of content thanks to a very hardworking developer.

5. Shadows Over Blackmore
To me Darktoz's games have always been a "there's not much femdom lately and beggars can't be choosers" kind of deal, but SoB is such a humongous improvement! Not just in the new engine, but also better writing, more interesting characters and a more believable setting, all while keeping his classic dark atmosphere.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
Moving Down: another quantity over quality game, but with the most consistent updates out of any femdom I follow, and that's saying something given that the russians are bombing the dev's country.
My Best Deal: not much femdom and not that well written either, but somehow it still manages to hit just right for me.
Your Place: a lot of potential with an very well written main female character. The focus on futas is a bit of a bummer, but hey what can you do.

I'm very surprised nobody mentioned my top 2 by the way, I thought they had far more following, especially UtW.

edit: I know teary gets ragged on for how buggy and slow the updates are
but the amount of content alone is some of the best, and has a higher quantity (IMO)
