I have played the second patch of Darktoz' crowning jewel, Shadow over Blackmore (before AI puts all our game designers out of work), and, SPOILERS, there is a plotline about how the females have come to the town and changed it. If I'm not mistaken, the ancient philosophies' idea used to designate the males as the agents of order, with the females being the harbingers of chaos. But now, curiously enough, I feel it being reversed - with males assumed to be primordial and savage, and females as civilising?
Just to clarify, even though such philosophical systems do draw my fancy, I don't take them more seriously than the concave Earth theory. The very dichotomy between the male and the female is rather cringe. But if we do play by those rules, it can bring amusing results. And I'm not sure which of the two offends me more anyway. One could view the current feminist West (...oh, shut up...) as a wrong kind of order, or maybe even chaos masking as order... Or they are truly a force of order, and chaos was always right to begin with (as one tiny Russian schizo cult I dug up seems to claim).
