This game is clearly made for people with experience in beat'em ups. Judging by the ratings, most people here aren't.

The mechanics aren't bad nor complex or anyhting imo. I've played and beat this game several times. This game is meant to be challenging and he honestly had games that were way harder than all of his projects since WGUB. While there isn't too much difference to his earlier games gameplay wise, I still enjoy it.
Espescially since it has my favorite theme and several female MCs you can play! *_*

This game is ridiculously grindy. It comes to a point it's just annoying and boring. The enemy constantly lock you and it's super long to get away, then they lock you again and so on. It's just not worth it. And the scenes are not good anyway.

The fantasy and design of the game really appeal to me. Unfortunately, the game mechanics ruin it for me. It's all too hectic. I eventually lost patience and stopped playing. The game is only suitable for players who enjoy this kind of game mechanics. Unfortunately, it's not for me.

This game is so god damn hard and the map design is confusing af. It never tells you where you should be going, and there are often objects obstructing the player views so you get stuck in a place and not knowing how to proceed.
