So I give this game 2 stars for a few reasons:
Plus:
-Its a unique game- Captures the creepy feel very well!
-It does make you want to see all of the events and content
-Decent agency, player choice matters a bit
Minus:
-The game is heavy rng dependent
-There are no tangible rewards to work towards, feels random
-Needs a guide
-Unbalanced grind
-Lack of story goals
- inventory feels lackluster because rng driven
-Lack of player agency, small decisions don't matter
-Lack of developed supporting cast
-Short game
-No real ending after 5 years
-fairly uninteresting gameplay, with minigames that feel like chores
- only 4 out of 5 routes are created, and yet there is no content beyond the initial selection
-Its been in production for 5 years now and there's hardly any content
-newest content adds rng dice minigame to a casino, because that's what important /s
Conclusion:
Can't recommend, will probably be dropped, and while a great idea, the dev lacks effort and execution. The dev is pulling in 110 pateron members for this-highway robbery.
