Even though I have been visiting this site every day for two years now, I somehow was not aware of VAM
I do now, and I've been taking a deeper dive into it in the last few days. So far I find the experience to be quite overwhelming, the potential is so immense, but head scratching as I dive deeper. Here are a few questions to get started:

I do now, and I've been taking a deeper dive into it in the last few days. So far I find the experience to be quite overwhelming, the potential is so immense, but head scratching as I dive deeper. Here are a few questions to get started:
- I understand most assets go in the "Addonpackages" folder. Now, can I create subfolders in it so as to sort the VARs I put in them (Looks, clothing, hair, etc.)? As well, can a VAR be renamed?
- There are a great many plugins that do the same thing, or one may do X better than another. What's the rule of thumb under this circumstance in terms of keeping a library as neat as possible while not breaking dependencies in the process?
- If a Look depends on X, but Y does it better, is possible to make the switch while keeping the VAR operational?
