Right now this is a dreadfully boring walking simulator with no gameplay, no music or ambience, and it is full of maps where it isn't clear which paths are exit tiles and which ones are scenery. I couldn't even be bothered to play to the end of the current demo. Strongly consider using a different engine and just making this a VN.

I agree with sgb3. If I had to say something positive about the current maps it would be that they sort of have that abandoned/empty mood, but then again, they also remind me of how inexperienced Source modders would just put random destroyed cars/rubble all over the place with no actual reason to justify it being there beyond "it's supposed to be post-apocalyptic!" So perhaps it's simply triggering that nostalgic feeling and coloring my persception of any actual mood.
I Also hate to say it, but the character art has a massive case of sameface, with only the ears/tails really differing the characters and their species (and even then, I can barely tell the intended species of some of them.) I'm gonna end my art critque here, because I feel like I come off like an asshole when I do, but I highly suggest the creator look into something like website. It's an incredibly useful tool for learning the different shapes of animal heads from different angles.
And yeah, look into some royality-free music, there's plenty of choice nowadays.

Ok, a few things.
1. Some things that should be traversable are not, like the first bridge if you go through the top part you can't get off and you can't cross to the bottom one.
2. Things that should have collision don't like some of the pillars when you are looking for sophia and yo can exit the first room in which you find her by walking directly to the top of the ladder, hell in the house you can use the ladder to get onto the walls
3. The switch between some of the transitions in which you just walk up to and some in which you need to press enter to move from the screen is fucking awful, I spent a few minutes not understanding why the hell I couldn't leave that screen and thought I was hard locked or that I had to find soph behind a tree or something.

Thanks for pointing out the bugs, they will be fixed in the next update.

Previews look nice, just a shame its in RPGM. Don't even need to try it to know it'll be to much wasted time just moving around. Might load it up someday if theres a gallery and a save posted but otherwise screw RPGM gameplay.
