Files being flagged as malicious

It used to happens once in a few weeks know of the 30 games I installed today 27 are being flagged as dangerous/malicious files is this normal? seems like mixdrop is the culprit

Flagged by what ? Your browser ?

Mixdrop spread its download through thousand of hosts, instead of keeping them on the main one like most file hosting services. Something that is seen by your browser (and possibly few basic anti-virus that would monitor your traffic at high level) as suspicious, reason why the archives are flagged.
