Considering how old and popular the series is, I was really surprised that I haven't seen any Final Fantasy themed games at all. I know Japanese copyright laws are brutal and Square Enix specifically goes after copyright infringement stuff so I can understand why there aren't any on the Japanese front. But definitely would have expected to see some western games either parodying the series or using the characters/worlds. Considering the incredible wealth of characters, worlds, settings and lore I think it's a shame. I think it could make a stellar H game.

But maybe that's just me. How many people would actually be interested in a game like that?

I would only be interested in a FF porn game if it parodies a single game/setting(and it's a FF game I've actually played).
I generally dislike "multiverse" parodies since it removes most of the allure and immersion of that world, to me the adherence to the setting's canon(within reason obviously) is what makes the porn interesting in the first place. I.E Tifa in a non FF7 setting feels more just like banging someone cosplaying as Tifa rather than banking Tifa herself.

I agree with that, if you're using a specific character the setting better be as accurate as possible. What I think might be a good idea however is to use the setting without any of the characters. I've recently gotten really into FF14 and that game is like an amalgamation of every FF game ever. A game that takes after that might be interesting. You don't play as any specific FF character but a new/created character in the world of FF and visit the locales of the game.

There used to be a slave trainer type of game based on the FF universe that allowed you to capture/acquire the girls from the various games. That started out interesting.

I'd play a FF game, I'll play any game if it's interesting, sadly though it won't be.

I'm curious as to why you think it wouldn't be interesting.

I don't see why people in this thread would feel that thata crossover of final fantasy girls would be a problem. Final fantasy itself has crossovers in stuff like dissidia and kingdom hearts and so many of the worlds have themes and places that tie together. You could easily have a plot like that of dissidia or the ff porn game crystal fantasy in which heroines from various worlds are summoned together to fight as a party, or have an male oc lead/train a group of ff women without it breaking the characters.

Similarly from the success of the porn game point of view there are plenty of crossover parody games which are highly successful like Akabur's star channel or conquered hearts, and in terms of ff character's it would be much easier plot wise to to have an adventure or trainer game with tifa, yuna and lightning then it would with disney charcaters.

Anyway, it would be interesting to know what type of final fantasy game the OP was considering; particuarly whether they were considering a 2d or 3d game.

I'm not saying that there isn't a market for it and a lot of people don't like it. It's just my personal opinion on the matter.

That's also the reason why I haven't played Dissidia, Kingdom Hearts, or Star Channel for more than an hour or two. I just disliked the crossover setting and couldn't get into it.

I wasn't singling out you or saying your opinion was wrong or that you shouldn't give it. The OP wanted to hear people's views and your's is perfectly valid.

The only reason I was bringing up the success of multiplayer games was that the OP was asking about people's opinions on a potential FF themed game, as he only got a small sample which seemed against a crossover, I thought it was worthwhile pointing out that such games have been quite successful when done by others. That way they might have a more balanced view on a potential game content, should they choose to make one in the future.

No, at this point I only vaguely remember bits of it anyway.

I'm pretty sure it took place in FF7s Midgard city, I think. It's just been to long.

also a year late, but I saw 4 elements trainer and Naruto trainer, and I just thought that'd be nice for FF. And, yes, ALL the FF girls, not just one series.
