No idea if this is the right place to ask this, but what does "first message reaction score" measure exactly? Sorting by it seems to give a pretty good idea of what the best games are.
The likes given to the opening post of a games thread. So it could be people liking the game, but it could be people saying thank you to the uploader instead.

Regarding this, take note that the liking is related to the moment the like was gave.
People generally forgot that they liked this or that, and anyway don't feel it right to remove their like. Still, I'm sure that, if you ask them now, more than half of the people who liked Big Brother, by example, would say that now the game don't deserve this like.
