wouldve thought a full year delay wouldve been enough for something that was originally supposed to drop last december (which was apparently close to finished at that point). why is play & bug testing starting days before the "release" lol

Apparently they delayed the update to December 14th, or so the itch.io comments say.
its truly sad to see. im all for supporting smaller creators and giving them time to create a good product, this is so funny atp. if you had asked me a year and a half a go if id support pudding monetarily i wouldve told you yes had this game released when it was originally planned. something about creating a discord event for the 4th with the desc being "guaranteed when the update will come out", only to push it to the 14th, has got to be parody.
Alright this is getting frustrating now. It's been a whole year since they started to announce, maybe two even.

I'm in the same boat as you. I honestly expected what was to release tomorrow to basically just be the final thing with some bugs. But I opened discord tonight and saw this:
The two things I want to highlight are the phrase "I want the game to be playable for the beta" which is tomorrow evening and "i still need to reconstruct the power down sequence".
The first part makes me thing that what were getting tomorrow is going to be light on content, Im not sure how weve gone a calendar year with a playable build just barely being released a week after a guaranteed deadline. Im hoping she means playable as in that youre experience isnt ruined by bugs.
The second part is the red flag to me. On her kanban, which she made to show her progress in development (which hasnt been updated for like half a year), says that "
You must be registered to see the links
" was ready for testing in May. Not sure why it still needs to be reconstructed when it was... already remade?
I've beat this horse to death. It is just a porn game on a pirate site.
I genuinely don't know what to say anymore. At this point I just hope someone can mod the game we got.

They have fallen into the classic feature creep loop where they are constantly rewriting old code then re-rewriting that same code over and over again. This is a death spiral for 99% of games and is extremely hard to actually recover from. Game had a good run, but its officially Joever now.

does this mean the bugtest will be uploaded here as an addition to this thread or as a separate game? or will it just be kept as a semi-private build until it most of the stuff is finished? Also, i guarantee this thing is going to get delayed again
