The fact that the engine is the same makes this even worse because she cant even claim that she was learning the new engine. At this rate i believe she just didn't want to work on the second game so she created Remixed and intentionally put it through development hell so she could claim that "Remixed should come before the second game" while, as you said, raking in the money patreon donators were giving her for the second game.

(Also really funny how the beta test say's it will be updated almost daily until the launch and (as typical with pudding) the last update was over 12 days ago)

If you ever needed an abridged version of this games development cycle these 2 screenshots almost perfectly encompass it. Announce release date + plans and delay 3 times, repeat.

The last one is especially stupid because the art is independent of the code in terms of bugs, so why not push it for the exact reason a beta exists?

The only thing different between Definitive Edition and Remixed is a different engine, some new code and an extras menu for some options to mess around with. (And not something that should have taken several years to do)

yeah I get it, I also understand the point of supporting patreon accounts making stuff, but I personally wouldnt think about supporting her patreon after all this wait. I swear, its been FOREVER since I saw ANYTHING NEW. Everytime I check in, download the game, check if anythings changed, its just all the same. For fucks sake...

so just milking patreon members for a long time....I guess they never thought of unsubbing and showing words also have consequences. Oh well...another game I gotta drop cuz of the creator's greed...
I was studying programming for a while, I KNOW HOW MUCH EFFORT IT TAKES, but 2-3 years....? for a game like Fuzboobs....yeah I'm good thanks for pitching in on the explanation dude

reading a lot of the chatter in her discord its obvious that a lot of them dont really care about the lack of content cause they are either completely unaware of what the actual code looks like or theyre too new to understand that what we got is the product of 3 years of "work".

i too have experience in programming, a minor in computer science, so I understand how difficult some of the implementation is. the math doesnt math in terms of whats in vs the time it took.
